This is the best taqueria I've found in san francisco. The super tacos are exactly what I want at 2 in the morning. This place can get quite a line at 2 so get there early if you're hungry!
4This is my go-to Mexican place, everyone has one. Taqueria Cancun is nothing fancy but the burritos are packed with the meat of your choice and it's great after you've had one too many drinks, really hits the spot and soaks up your over-consumption of alcohol.
5Convenient, cheap, great burritos and huge portions.
It is at the corner of 5th and Mission, really close to the new emporium.
This is the type of Mexican food that you find in Mexico-- AUTHENTIC! Yum!
4Just got back from this joint. I walked there in about 5 minutes. It took about 15 to roll home after my belly was filled to the brim with that blastedly delicious smothered carnitas burrito.

it is misleading to rate this the number 1 burrito in SF. The restaurant is dirty and the service is hap-hazard, if friendly. The food is quite inexpensive however the sacrifice in quality level is apparent. The protein portions are not

Quickly rose to the top of the city taquerias for me due to their liberal use of avocado and the amazing al pastor. Put those both in the Super Nachos and add their fantastic actually-hot-enough salsas and you may never stray too far

Pros: Pork, ceviche, negra modelo
Cons: Whoa! That jukebox is loud!
The best veggie burrito in town. Excellent salsa verde, cilantro, and fresh avocado with beans, rice, and cheese. Must try!

This is where I go for a burrito in the Mission. They are always friendly, fast, and I love the multi-colored flags hanging from the ceiling. The place feels happy and welcoming, as a taqueria should. Sometimes there's a line, but it

Pros: Cheap, good food in the Mission
Cons: Can be busy, A little messy
The super nachos are the best late night snack ever. Delicious refried beans, avacado, cheese...I can't imagine anything better at two in the morning. Word.

There's many taquerias in this neighborhood, many good ones. This is one of the good ones. Good service, nice crowd, authentic ambience. I had the quesadilla suiza with carne asada. It was filling and as good as any. My wife ate a

Pros: The Food
Cons: Absolutely Nothing
I loved my super-burrito: excellent tortilla (it's not, but it really tastes like it's homemade), yummy carne asada, drooling sour cream, a pinch of cilantro and big slices of avocado. It's too bad however they don't have lettuce and

Not only does this place serve the BEST burritos in San Francisco, they're also insanely cheap (the most impressive item, the Burrito Mojado, is only $4.80). The listing here says they're open until 1:45 am, but it's actually considerably

It is known that mexican food in canada is pretty horrible and bland.
I've been to san francisco 3 times and ate there every time. The third time was part of a month long roadtrip throughout the U.S.. I admit that the only thing i thought

Pros: cheap, huge!, real avocados
This palce constantly wins awards and they deserve it. Best burritto around. But not all Taqueria Cancuns are created equal. This is the best of the three locations in San Francisco. The burritos aren't as heavy and it's got the most table space. The carnitas are fantastic at this one too.

I was an avid burrito-hater until I gave into the peer pressure to try Cancun. I am in love with their veggie burrito and burrito mojado (wet back). Plus, the guys that work there are total sweethearts and the service is always quick and

Pros: inexpensive, great staff, FAST!
Yep, I've been to La Taqueria down the street and TC wins - every person I have taken to both agree (that's not saying La Taqueria is not great in its own right). Sure the burittos can fall apart if you don't know what you're doing, but

These burritos are the best in the nation.
You will be shocked and amazed at how good they are. You'll keep coming back over and over again.

Order the veggie burrito. The first one's not free but it's cheap and it's full of pinto beans, salsa, rice, half an avocado, sour cream, and is habit forming.

Taqueria Cancun is the reason one lives in California. Excellent, cheap Mexican food with hot sauce to clear your sinuses.
Parking is Mission typically nightmarish, but you're usually eating there while wandering the bars. The

Tazueria Cancun really is one of the best taqueria's in the city. At either of their locations the food is wonderful. For ambiance though, go to the Mission location instead of the 6th & Market one.

Taqueria Cancun is the Best. Be sure to try the Carne Asada or Chorizo Burrito. The breakfast burrito is the only hang over solution in town! Ingredients are always fresh and service is always fast & efficent.

Cancun regularly gets props as San Francisco's best taqueria. Personally, I reserve that status for La Taqueria on 25th Street, but Cancun is still hard to beat. The price is right, and the sauted tortillas are a nice touch on the
