I usually go to Precision Tune for oil changes. They are faster and cheaper than Jiffy Lube and don't try to sell me on additional services. I used to also get smog inspections here but I'm not sure if they offer that anymore. The convenient location is also a plus.
4Best place for auto repair, very high quality service. went for a 100k maintenance service, service was excellent within time. My car mileage increased and the ride was very smooth. They always have coupons and they do free oil change with most of other services. They gave me the list of parts which might need to be replaced after couple of months. I liked the sicerety as unlike others they will not change the parts for money. I would say that this is the best place for auto repair.
PROS: good service, sincere, in time, very resonable
CONS:

For about $18.00, I changed my car's oil at this place. They disposed of the old oil in a "clean" way, and my car was much improved afterwards. I cannot remember what brand of oil they used for the change, but I do believe the grade was 10W-30. The type of oil filter they used, I believe, was a Warren oil filter. In the past, I have usually changed my own oil, and I suspect that you can get better oil filters, though I do not know that for sure. The center was very busy when I dropped my car off on a Saturday at noon. I wound up having to leave my car there for about 2-3 hours before getting it back after the change.
PROS: Decent oil change, but a wait on some days.
