Mr Tibbs Catering

Mr Tibbs ribs are famous in bakersfield. They are so darn good and made perfectly. The side dishes are the usual bbq sides. I cant get enough when I come here.

I wanted to like this place, I really did, but it's bad! The restaurant is ugly, outdated, and uncomfortable. Although the sauce was good, the ribs and the rib tips were very tough. The coleslaw was a watery, tasteless mess. The french fries are the store brand frozen kind. They do not serve macaroni & cheese which, to me, is a common side dish served at almost every rib restaurant. Yes, you can smell the food from the parking lot but good smell doesn't good equal taste at Mr. Tibbs.

OH man! I am a big BBQ Fan & I smelled that BBQ Pit blocks away! I had some of the Baby Back Ribs with some greens and Corn Bread... OH MAN THEY WERE GREAT! i would definatly recommend this place to people. I have not stopped talking about this place since i left Bakersfield. TWO THUMBS UP!!!

Mr. Tibbs Ribs has the BEST ribs! My family decided to try them one day when we smelled their cooking in the shopping center where we were at. They caterer and the staff they have are very nice, the prices good. They shorted our order when we had them catered but they fixed the situation immediately.

Great BBQ with even greater ribs. Southwest part of Bakersfield with dining in or take-out. Famous BBQ sauce guatanteed to bring you back for more. Fair prices too.

You can smell the barbeque as you pull up. The food is just like you would find down South in Mama's kitchen with ribs and tritip, chicken and catfish. The quality is excellent and the lunch special is the value of the city !
