Anderson Tax Svc

I have been going to Anderson's Tax service for several years to have my taxes done. My preparer is very knowledgeable and always tries to help me get the best return. He always mails me a worksheet a few weeks ahead of my appointment to help me get everything I need to bring and I like getting a courtesy call as a reminder of my appointment. The staff has always been very friendly.

I've been using Anderson's tax service for over 10 years and I've always been happy. I don't have Anderson personally do my taxes, but the preparer that I have, I really like and he always works with me to get me the best returns, and keeps asking for other things that I would forget to claim. The office staff has always been nice when talking to me, and gives me a courtesy call to remind me of appointments. I know the other reviewers said they do the basics, and probably that is true, but for a person that hasn't ever done my own taxes, I'm grateful for someone to try to get me the best refund. I now live in the San Diego area, but still drive to La Verne each year to have them do my taxes. They know my history and my appointment doesn't take very long. I think their charges aren't bad. Once, I had another firm do my taxes, and I had to pay a lot more than I had been paying at Anderson's.

I had my taxes done here last Appril and they did the very basics ok. Thhey were very over priced for the work they did. Nothing that I could not have done with my own computer program.

While they can do the basics, this is not a place I would use again. After having my tax returns done here, other accountants reviewed the work and subsequently found countless justified deductions that Anderson failed to note. Unfriendly, slow in their work, and allow things to fall through the cracks.
