Pros: Excellent food, lovely environment

Cons: Inflexibility with menu items, poor customer relations

ordered take-out from Eliza's and the only good thing was the brown rice. Potstickers were soggy, mushy and bland, Spicy chicken was mostly batter and skin - hardly any meat. The place is cheap, but quality is horrible.

Pros: Delicious, delicate and delightful atmosphere

Cons: no delivery, tough street parking

I usually go to Eliza's on 18th, but when I found out about this location, my boyfriend and I made our way to have dinner. I enjoy the food very much, from both restaurants, and I'd have to say that the service is always back and forth

This visually interesting, professionally concepted spot is also, transparently, a brutally operated business. Problems began at the door while the Maitre D? couldn?t find our reservation for a few minutes while he milled around

We just ate at Eliza's. The wait staff is unacceptably rude. When we told the waiter (the main guy who handles the take out) that our order was 40 minutes late, he said "if you don't like this place you don't have to come back" as first

When we were there a several years ago, an old woman didn't like her order and refused to pay for it. She only took one bite. The manager called the police on this elderly woman instead of bringing her something else and only charging her for the meal she ate. She was frail and humiliated and shaking. It was awful. We left and don't know how it ended, but although we like the food alot, the management was horrible so we wont go back.

My favorite Americanized Chinese restaurant. Think PF Chang with fresher ingredients and more creative dishes. The salmon and vegetable dishes are highlights, as is the decor. The restaurant is well-kept and bright with modern, colorful art and the beautiful bar shouldn't be missed.

I highly recommend this place. Even though the prices are high, the food is worth it. Try the Mongolian Beef. Because the sauce is so rich with flavor, you'll definitely need white rice, not fried rice. I try to go there at least once a month.

This is a "branch" of the original Eliza's which is still operating on Portrero Hill (18th St.). I've eaten at both and my comments apply to either one. The first thing you'll notice is the "ambience" which can be a little "in your face".

The food is outstanding. Not really traditional fare, it is a modern interpretation of some classics. The mango ostrich was amazing and the spicy bok choi was the highlight of the evening. The colorful decor makes Eliza's a favorite.

Colorful decor didn't hide the unbalanced dishes - all too salty, barely resembling authentic Chinese. The sea bass was utterly lost in the black bean sauced smothering. Salt & pepper shrimp disappointed. Vegetarian mu-shu was OK, but
