I am a huge fan of greek food, and Papa Cristo is simply delicious. I love, love, love their Vegetarian menu!!!! Their grilled eggplant is sooo good!!!! You have to try their feta pizza, and falafel, they are my favorite!!! You have to go try the deliciousness!!!

This is my first time trying greek food. I really love it and their food and service is great. I was in town for a couple of days to visit some friends. I wouldn't mind coming back here again try other dishes. Recommend to ppl who want to try something new.
5Occassionally I get a craving for greek food and every time that I do this is exactly where I go. I haven't really tried any other Greek places, but in my mind I think why would I when I have a place that I love.
If you don't know what to get just order the gyro, it is freakin fantastic.

I just came back from a trip to LA and one of the things that keeps flashing through my mind is the soundtrack of Papa Cristos/ Delish food and fun ambiance. I will definately make it a stop on my next trip.

This is my favorite SoCal Greek restaurant. The steak kebabs are very tender and they're made out of filet mignon! It's hard to find something here I don't like. Other hits include the tzatiki and pitas. Don't forget to walk over to

I ordered catering for a group of 30 people; the quality, taste of the meat, freshness of the food were amazing. Large portions so I had a lot of leftovers. The baklava, greek salad, meat kebabs are to die for!

Pros: Great food, great service, great prices
I love their lamb kabab and their potatoes are so yummy I always end up eating too much. A sinful enjoyment. The indoor eating area is a bit noisy, but on a no-too-hot sunny day, out at the patio is rather nice.

Pros: Best Greek food in the city of LA
This place needs to expand and be more service oriented like a true restaurant although they have counter order and carry-out too. I have no doubt it could be much more successful. The food is great and far from mediocre--Hey, if I could

Pros: Fast counter service available, divine selection, shop too!
Cons: Small parking lot
This place is a great for good Greek food. And...you can have it how you like it. They have a sit down restaurant as well as a deli area, where you can order to go. They also have items pre-made to speed up your trip. I went here for lunch one day and was very pleased. The food was exactly what I expected "good Greek food." And the prices were reasonable.

Simple, tasty, without any unnecessary extras. I was tempted to try their homemade red wine (labeled "Good with everything!"), but their beer selection called out to me. The food was served within minutes and looked as mouthwatering as it tasted.
4This is the food I grew up on. The meats are amazing and the dips and sauces are authentic. Everything from gyros to grilled squid is on the menu and all with the authentic Greek flavors. Papa Cristos is fun for a group and appropriate

Pros: amazing food, entertainment, the market, good parking
Cons: styrofoam plates
This place is absolutely amazing. The gyros are the best in town, and you get enough for two meals. It is also a fun, family environment with a fantastic musician, Petros, playing on the weekends. Great place to take out of town people.
5Papa Cristo rules a tight ship in this deli/supermarket.
And does an excellent job with a big smile.
Order your food in the deli and take it with you or sit down at one of the many tables, help yourself to as many free olives and peppers as you like.
The lamb chops are absolutely amazing, served with pita bread, sauces, Greek salad and roasted potatoes.
Their desserts are truly amazing... I love the baklava with custard.
Their deli section has great bread (freshly baked on the premises), cheeses, olive oil and more than I can possibly describe here.
Worth to try out.
You will return... like I do.

This is a great Greek restaurant. Papa Cristo will actually probably be there when you go and he is such a character. The food is good and healthy and fresh!
4Low key casual atmosphere. Great Greek food with fresh tasting ingredients. A top lunch spot if you are in the area.

Moving to Los Angeles from the East Coast I have found it difficult to find really good food (except for Mexican) however here it is. I love this place. It is similar to the Italian deli/family style restaurants back east. \r
