Chano's is a small Mexican Restaurant that also sells some American sandwiches like hot dogs, burgers, and fries. The food is very good and the service is great! The people are all friendly and very polite. The restaurant is small but clean. The beef enchilada plate provides a lot of food and is just under $6. Tacos and burritos are also high on the list, but everything I've tried has been good.

This is a pretty good mexican food joint in San Gabriel. It is a very small place, but does serve up some pretty good burritos. Definitely try the carne asada burrito if you go there. It is great tasting, however, i think it could be a bit bigger. Prices are regular (around 4-5 dollars for a burrito). They also have drive thru if you are in a rush!!

Chanos has been around for years in the San Gabriel Valley. It's basically a simple, hole-in-the-wall taco/burrito stand, but now they have upgraded with indoor tables and dining. Still very simple, it is a great place to go for solid Mexican food that's quick on the go.
Their meats are well-done and has good marination. The Carnitas are moist, but a bit greasy (which is common), but still quite tasty. Carne Asada is solid as well. Their Horchata is a bit on the sweet/sugary side (too much so).
Still, a good value if you're looking for something quick and authentic. Much better than typical "fast food" restaurants.

Pros: Authentic Mexicanfood, Cheap, Quick
Cons: Good, not great
