I was a little worried about eating sushi so far inland, however this is one of the tastiest sushi places I have been to. I was a regular customer for a long time. I have met with other friends who live in the area and they too enjoy food at Sammy's.

Sammy makes the best sushi rolls ever!! The Lion King, Lettuce Wrap, Avacado monster are the best!! My boyfriend who didn't care too much for sushi in the past, was so addicted to Sammy Sushi he would go 2 -3 times a week. But because we end up spending so much each time, we had to cut down. He has since moved out of Livermore, but he has Sammys whenever he goes back, which is almost weekly. Sammy and his family have always been great.
