Pros: It always smells so good in the Market
I was taught to cook by my Zia (Aunt) Giovanna at a very young age. I learned Italian cuisine from recipes handed down from my Nona (Grandmother) Incremona. The one thing I learned is that to get good results, start with the best

Pros: Fully Stocked, conveniently located just off the 405 and off street parking behind the building
This quaint italian market is absolutely terrific! We take-out sandwiches frequently, amongst our favorites is the meatball sandwich. A variety of fresh organic produce often graces the counter. Prices are reasonable and the owners are just great!
5This is one of the best Italian market in Los Angeles we think!! they even have the : " caffettiere " and carry all kinds of Italian brand name products that you usually do not find in any markets. They even have in their cold cuts the : " mortadella . " this is a must if you want some good stuff.

Love this store...it is the best. I go at least once a week to have their italian sausage. The food is great, the deli sandwiches you just can not beat the taste and the cost anywhere in the city. They have anything you ever thought you needed for a great italian dish. You will be amazed at the things they have and the cost.

Love this place! I go there a lot for the deli sandwiches served on long or short rolls. All kinds of sides and pastries. A Culver City icon owned and operated by former Culver City mayor and city councilman, Albert Vera and his wife. Stocked as well with all kinds of Italian and European foods not found in your grocery store. Very reasonable.

I've been going to Sorrentos for close to twenty years. I could not disagree more with the review above. The sandwiches at Sorrentos are the best. Try the meatball or the Italian sub -- the red sauce is to-die-for. The location is a

Pros: Great food, great selection
Cons: long trip from Hollywood
A co-worker mentioned that there was an Italian deli down the street, so I went to check it out. I watched about three people ahead of me get a sandwich made from this vat of meat and oil. It was pretty gross looking. I left right away.

Pros: Good selection of dry goods

So much good stuff to choose from! Wines, deli meats and cheeses, Italian confectionaries, pasta - A great stop for when you're planning an Italian dinner party or just a meal on a smaller scale.
