EXCELLENT Sashimi! The place is casual (we sat at the sushi bar), unpretentious and the price was right. Service was good as well. We will be back for the Hamachi, Sake, Albacore, Tuna, and Waloo Sashimi. Wonderful!

Pros: Fresh Sushi, casual atmosphere, good value
I had a really nice dinner here. Its a lively spot. My boyfriend and I got to chat with the new owner, who is working hard to raise the bar for this little Marina restaurant.
Dinner was great, free edamame, a well rounded selection of sake with good descritpions, and a wine list that I will go back to sample. You will find some of the standard rolls and appetizers on their dinner menu, and some that are a little different. Nothing too outrageous, but everything was good. Our waitress was really sweet, and mentioned some pretty reasonable prices for Happy Hour too. I will have to go back and see.
Most importantly - the sashimi tasted fresh... this is something that always makes or breaks a sushi restaurant for me.
All in all, its a lovely little spot. Maybe not the place for some more *eh hem* snotty individuals, but I will be going back to enjoy friendly service, in a down to earth atmosphere.

With only 3 people at the Sushi Bar at 7:00pm and 6 people in the main dining room, I placed my order at 7:11 only to receive it 45 minutes later! Not only was the hostess who took my order rude, she never once felt it necessary to apologize for the absurd amount of time it took. A random waiter apologized and said it would just be a few more minutes at the 20 minute mark, then 30 then 40 minutes. My request for something to be comped fell on deaf ears and after many inquiries to the hostess, she finally responded "this is how long it takes" and still no aplogy when I flat out told her not to blame me for their incompetence. Unless you have 45 minutes to waste for mediocre sushi, don't bother. I could have driven to Ebisu, had my order filled and get back to Pacific Heights in the time it took.

Pros: Service for us was a highlight, lovely sake list, interesting chef
Cons: Not the best fish I've had (though ok)
Every time I go here, I have some sort of issue. On our first visit, we made a reservation then arrived on time, only to stand in the entryway for 15 minutes. We were actually debating leaving when a gentlemen seated us without even an

Pros: Great Sushi Chef!
Cons: service
The lighting is warm, dim, and inviting. The fish is pretty good; their roll selection is decent. Their cooked meals are good too. This is one of the most crowded restaurants on Chestnut St on a Saturday night; reservations are suggested.

I came here with a large group and definitely had a good time. They had a great sake menu. The rolls were slightly above average, but the atmosphere, service and sake made up for a great dining experience.

Naked Fish has managed to "dress" up sushi rolls in very creative ways by frying it, baking is, and covering it was lots of sauces. Ok, I admit the Firecracker Roll is pretty amazing, but seriously do you really need to reinvent the wheel here? Small portions and high prices make this a typical Marina find. I don't hate it and will prob go back, but I wouldn't put it on the "don't miss" list.
PROS: creative rolls, location, trendy decor
CONS: portions, prize

This place has good sushi, don't get me wrong. The roll selection isn't as varied as I would like, but the food is solid. What isn't solid is: 1) the price of the rolls - ridiculous for the taste; 2) music - usually the techno is bumping

The sushi here was decent, not bad, but not great either, just average. I think they are understaffed though, it took about 15 minutes before our order was taken. After our order was taken, it took another 20-25 mintues before our dishes

we always like Naked fish's creative rolls and now they are serving Hawaiian only fish w/ their own specail sauce. The waitress recommended us not to use soy sauce and it was unbelievable! I would suggest you try their Aloha sampler,

Very good sushi (beats nearby Ace Wasabi hands down) in a stylish atmosphere. Let the sushi chefs suprise you and you won't be disappointed. Sake selection needs work.
