Great place to eat. Great ambiance! Great servers. Great sushi!
Always see movie stars here. I recommend you eat out side.

I love the seared salmon and variety of hand rolls at Iroha and the service is great. Its hard to find because its tucked away in a corner...I drove by it like 3 times before I found it. Valet parking is a mess...park on the street.
3We used to eat here until the superior Katsu-Ya opened on Ventura (about 1.25 miles east near Colfax).
The quality of the sushi is good, not great, although the fresh scallops in season (sashmi style) are only offered by a few sushi bars, Katsu-Ya is also one of them.
Parking lot is very tiny, which makes parking difficult, unless you're wiling to walk. This is a good place for a date.

My husband and I go out for sushi all the time. This was our first time at Iroha and we loved it. This is going to be our go-to sushi place from now on.

A group of us went to Iroha Sushi last night and experienced nothing short of excellent food and service. Every selection that we ordered was delicious and the fish that was used was extremely fresh. I highly recommend asking your server

Forget Katsuya, overpriced corporate sushi, this place is the real deal. The Sushi chefs here are experts and so attentive. Jose cuts paper thin sashimi that is simply AMAZING. Even the waiters remember my boss and I's favorite sake and

This place never fails to serve up succulent, mouth-watering sushi from the freshest fish. Everything we've tried on the menu is supurb and tasty and expertly prepared. The specials wrapped in cucumber are excellent. Some reviewers

I hesitated to rate this place average.....went there in the middle of the week - made a reso - seated us on time. The waiter was HORRIBLE - totally inattentive, brought the edamame AFTER the appetizer and first roll. Totally forgot about

I found this place on this site and decided to go there based on the reviews. I have no idea what you people are talking about? I arrived there and sat at the bar only to see that the fish was not wrapped in plastic and even worse that

I used to like this place a lot, but lately, the service has gone downhill. Attitude is cold and indifferent, like they're doing you a favor. Patio was a good idea, but restaurant is still cramped and very noisy. Not a good date spot

One of the best suchi bars in the valley! Some of the freshest Hamachi, Maguro, and Toro.....and sweet shrimp that they kill and clean right in front of you, still alive when you taste them. A little pricey, but well worth the sushi/sake

This place used to be a hidden gem. Not any more. We had bland sushi and indifferent service. They couldn't even get the edamame right. Don't waste your time.

I consider myself a sushi connoisseur and I always have a great time here. It has the vibe of a small sushi bar in the countryside of Japan while at the same time offering very non-traditional rolls. Their "Sushi Pizza" is awesome and if it's in season, try the live sweet shrimp or live scallops!
PROS: Very personable sushi chefs, great atmosphere, great sake selection
CONS: Valet parking is limited but plenty of street parking

Pros: Great Atmosphere
They recently added an enclosed patio which made this place much more accessible - hard to get in before.
This place makes the best sushi I've ever eaten.

I would never have entered this restaurant if I hadn't read all the nice things about it! From oustide it looks uninviting. Inside, what a pleasant retreat, a peaceful oasis of sushi! The fish was very fresh, the warm dishes very tasteful,

What a charming little place, tucked away in a little courtyard off of sushi row. You will greeted warmly both when you enter and when you depart. One particular sushi chef will say "see you tomorrow!".
The fish is all top notch. Blue

Pros: sushi, warm service, late hours
You feel like you've entered a little chalet. Friendly service and great daily specials. Stays open late (until midnight Monday - Saturday).
4Fresh ingredients.
Cute and informal. Very very noisy and un-peaceful. Families with small children, plus the western music added to the chaos.
Non Japanese clientelle.
