Very knowledgeable, caring, and friendly. They have been there when my dog was sick and took excellent care of her. They told me exactly what was going on and what needed to be done. I trust them completely with my dogs care!

I've been bringing my dogs to Dr MacAnally for years. I always feel that she and her staff have genuine love and care for my pets. She explains things well and gives great recommendations for their treatment.

Dr MacAnally is the best. She is always friendly and happy to help. She goes over everything with me and has given me helpful tips on taking good care of my dog. My dog has stayed very healthy and I thank Family Friend Animal Hospital for always being there.

Over the last 40 years my dogs have seen many different vets. Non have given the care and had the compassion of Dr. Mac. We have had some life threatening incidences with our 2 Labs and they have survived because of the intrinsic knowledge and love of animals that the Doc has. Her technicians are as caring as she is. Just a note to the reviewers, I am aware of other vet's offices that spend their time writing negative reviews of their competition. I prefer a vet and staff who work with integrity and in the best interest of my precious 8 year old puppies. She is the only Dr. that they have ever seen. THANKS Dr.. I am the Registered Veterinary Technician on staff here at Family Friend Animal Hospital. I have been registered with the state of California for the past 27 years. I am responding to a review on this page. Yes, we do inform the Doctor of the entering issues of our clients and their beloved furry friends. By doing this, the doctor will have a working knowledge of the pets condition. This is standard procedure in the human medicine field and is protocol in a highly efficient veterinary hospital of the highest caliber. All of us here at Family Friend Animal Hospital work closly as a team to provide our clients with top quality service.If this is a bad quality as stated by a previous reviewer, then I don't know what this world is coming to. I have used Family Friend animal hospital on several different occasions.While for the most part the staff is knowledgeable, ive found that they are usually the ones informing the 'doctor' of what is actually going on. After taking my animals to other vets in the area, i choose NOT to use this facility, partly because i like my 'kids' to be taken care of professionally and by someone with knowledge, but also because of other experiences i have heard about from other clients of theirs. If you have no where else to go, then by all means, go to Family Friend, but if you have other options, i suggest trying those before this place.

We took our 10 week old German Shepherd puppy with parvo to Shauna after the GT Emergency Clinic told us they could no longer treat her. The emergency clinic sent her home with us but she was still not well. I hear about Shauna through a friend and is the best veterinarian I have ever been to. Shauna cares about the animals she sees and her whole staff is excellent. Our puppy refused to eat after her treatment and Shauna sent us home with wet food and syringes and taught us what we needed to do at home to make her better. Regardless of the costs, if you care about your pet you will pay for quality! This is the best care you can get. Thank you so much Dr Mac and Staff!

This is an excellent facility and the doctor is very thorough in her exploration and examination of patients. She also takes a very complete history and is very caring. My only complaint regarding this facility is price. It is very expensive, which is somewhat problematic. We are considering taking pets elsewhere for more mundane issues, and using Dr. Mac when things are more serious, or not as clear cut. This is merely due to pricing. Again, this is my only complaint. We've been very pleased.

This hospital is filled with AWESOME employees and the doctor is phenominal! The receptionist was very nice and informative on my questions I had for her, and got me all checked in in a prompt manner! The back office tsaff is amazing, Richard the technician took flawless care of my cats, and treated them like you would any human being! His assistant Eddie was very kind in restraining my cats and cut their nails PERFECT, there was no bleeding or screaming during their procedure, they take EXCELLENT care of my cats! Doctor McAnally is very kind and she takes her time in examinining my cats and made sure they were on the right diet and instructed me carefully on my cats well being. I am A REGISTERED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN with 24 years of clinical experience and currently employed by Family Friend Animal Hospital. I have been here at this hospital for 3 years and have never been associated with a finer, more caring, well operated hospital. On this page, an "anonymous" reviewer has reported a bold face lie! In the last three years, we have NOT had an anesthetic death of any kind. Why a "client" would say these damaging things about our hospital is very disturbing to me. These people are clearly confused. If they had a problem with a procedure, we should have been addressed in and adult manner. Not with this childish misinformation. I hope that future and present clients of FAMILY FRIEND ANIMAL HOSPITAL will pay no heed to trash of this type. Thank you for your support

Very nice friendly, clean, caring place. I have taken all three of my animals here for years now and i will continue to. I love the vet...she is very sweet and does a great job.
