Service was good and prompt. But I was promised a complimentary car wash with my service and this is the second time that this wasn't done when I picked up my vehicle. They offered to washed it then but would take 25 mins. When they said it was ready, it should have been washed and I don't have time to wait to be washed, I was on my lunch break and it took awhile for my car to be delivered as it was.

Never get your car fixed here. They have screwed me over twice! I will never go back. Julio in the service department is a con artist. I came in to get my car fixed for the re-call and when I came to pick it up I had a bill for a minor service, oil and filter change that I never asked for. When I asked why this was done he told that was what it said in the computer that my appointment was for. Not my fault!! The only thing that we ever discussed was getting my FREE recall done. When he gave me the original paperwork to sign I had no idea that it was written on there that he was doing my oil filter changes etc.... I did not even need my oil changed! Then when I came to pick my car up of course I was mad and I asked him why he would do an oil change when I did not ask for one and it was never discussed. And he said "well you signed the paperwork". And I told him yes I did, but I thought what I was signing was only what we discussed. And all he said was sorry, you should look at things before you sign them. CON ARTIST!! This place sucks! I will never go back and will tell all my friends who have Toyotas to go to a different shop. Julio you should be ashamed of yourself for scamming people out of there money!

North Hollywood Toyota's service department is staffed with Crooks. Two weeks ago we brought our Yaris in for an oil change. Last Saturday the car broke down and upon checking the oil level it was empty. We had three separate people check the oil and all three came to the same conclusion. We had it towed back to NOHO Toyota where the original service was done. On Monday morning at 7am we received a phone call from their service department saying that the oil was full, interesting that three people checked it on Saturday and it was empty. They then tell us that there is diesel fuel in the gas tank and that it would be $500 to drain and clean out the engine.
There is no way that Diesel fuel could have gotten in the car as a diesel fuel pump nozzle does not fit in a standard gas car, it is way too big. Also the last gas fill-up was several days before the car broke down from a station that does not even carry diesel fuel. Diesel fuel in a gas car would not let the car move 1/2 mile let alone the 16 miles she drove that day before the car crapped out. There was no white smoke coming from the car as would happen if there was diesel fuel in the car.

The only other explaination is that 3 people misread the oil dipstick and some "vandal" poured the diesel into the car. In order for that to happen this "vandal" would have to lug a 5 gallon gas can full of diesel fuel up 3 floors of a busy mall parking deck in the middle of the day. He would then have to pry the gas cap lid open and pour the diesel into the car. Diesel runs about $4 per gallon, so this "vandal" would have spend about $20 to sabatoge a random vehicle in a mall parking lot. Wouldn't sugar have been cheaper, easier and more effectively used for this purpose? This scenario is ludicrous.
When we decided we wanted to take it to another shop to find out the real problem Noho Toyota held our car hostage for $130 to release it from their lot. Since we earn a modest living and could not be sure that Toyota would not add diesel to the car before releasing it we had to let them "fix" this problem.

These guys are incredibly crooked. Do not give them your business, in fact avoid this place like the plague.

I'm hoping that this review will help someone else avoid the same problems I experienced at Toyota of North Hollywood. In short, they did a shoddy job on my car and the customer service was substandard. I would not recommend them to anyone. If you want to know the exact details of my situation, just continue reading.

I dropped my car off at 7:30am, right when they opened up. All I needed was a replacement for a broken door handle and an oil change. I was told that it would be ready between 10:30 and 11am and that they would call my cell. I returned at 10:35, still without a call. I was in no rush and figured that they'd alert me when the work was finished.

By 11:15, I went to see the representative who waited on me earlier to find out what the hold up was. I was given a weak and confusing excuse that they did not realize I had returned to the dealership; had they known, they would have moved my car up in priority. Question: If I arrived at 7:30am, right at the dealership's opening, shouldn't I have priority over anyone else who came in after me? They would not set up an appointment, hence it's first come, first serve. At this point, I was told that it would be another 45 minutes until the work would be completed.

Noontime rolled around and I gave them a little extra time, but come 12:25, my patience had worn out. I hadn't seen my representative for at least twenty minutes (his work station was clearly visible from about thirty feet from where I was sitting), so I went to talk to another attendant. When I told him what the problem was, he just referred me to the same guy I hadn't seen for twenty-odd minutes. We walked out to where the cars where being worked on and my representative showed up. The other rep acted like he was standing there all along and that I wasn't paying attention. Now I was being told that a bolt within my door had been causing problems for the mechanic. He didn't go into too much detail, he just smiled and shrugged and pointed to some vague spot on the car door and said they were having a tough time with it. This is about five hours after I dropped off the car and at no time had they told me of any problems that had arisen which were causing a delay. All that he said was, ??It'll take a little more time?. That ended up being another hour.

At 1:30 they finally told me that the car was ready. I paid for the handle and service and few minutes later the car rolled round. I got in and tried to roll up the windows. As I pressed the switch to raise them, the entire component housing the power window switches came loose. The only thing connecting them to the door was the wiring. I called to the rep and he in turn called over a mechanic. They went off for a moment to discuss it and the rep came back to tell me, rather nonchalantly, that the guy who worked on my car broke my door and didn't say anything about it to anyone. Then he said that he would order a replacement piece for the switch. Why would he think I'd want his guys to continue working on my car at this point? I informed him that I didn't want the part, I didn't want his staff touching my car, and that I'd look elsewhere.

Six hours wasted and my car was still broke. Money is tight right now and the people living here in the Valley need a reliable place to take their vehicles for service. Please don't make the same mistake I did and get burned! Do not support Toyota of North Hollywood with your hard-earned income!

I decided to write here because people tend to write reviews when they are not happy with the service they got and want to spread the word so everyone knows! But when we are happy and satisfied we don't remember of taking the time to write the good stuff!

NoHo Toyota is one of that places that I loved doing business with. They helped making my dream come true, which was buying my Rav 4 last year...beautiful car!!!

It was such a nice experience for me, not only as a client, but as a marketing professional, I learned how sales/internet department should work. After I submitted my information in a few minutes I received the contact from Adriana (they have lots of girls on the sales team and they are all great and very knowledgeable :)

I felt transparency during the negotiation process...so different from the other experience I had!!!. My husband was impressed too because he got his Corolla in another Toyota dealership and when we got there the salesperson told us that the car was sold (we called 4 times to let them know we were on our way! but I guess they don't believe in customers and just want to sell no matter what...bad lucky maybe...

I live in Playa del Rey and it was far for me to go to Noho Toyota...I guess location is important (that's why I gave them 4 stars), but PEOPLE still the key of the dealership??s success.

This is a review of their Parts and Services. (The phone no. is really 888 520 5000; Insider Pages won't post a toll free no.). Since I have a Toyota, I go here because its the closest and most convenient. That said, the service is mostly solid--sometimes fast, sometimes very slow. For the years Ive taken my car in for servicing, North Hollywood might have a waiting room where one can sit and watch t.v., or it might not. Heaven knows why it was sealed off the last time I was there. Without a room to wait in, one has to sit outside in bad weather or in the showroom, and that gets uncomfortable or inconvenient. They do have a van that takes you to a shopping area if you dont want to wait for your car, or if you dont have someone to pick you up. All I can say is, the facilities are currently not the greatest for waiting customers.

They do have a van that takes you to a shopping area if you dont want to wait for your car, or if you dont have someone to pick you up. All I can say is, the facilities are currently not the greatest for waiting customers.

We've had our two Toyotas regularly serviced here over the past 8 years. The have an outstanding team of service reps who are extremely courteous, professional and well-informed. They offer a free shuttle service to take you to work or home in the area while your car is being worked on. I often feel I'm being ripped off when I go to a mechanic, but I never get any pressure to get additional work done. They've very understanding of your budget and are honest as to the severity of any recommended fixes.

PROS: Trusted work, excellent customer service
CONS: It's a dealership so prices are as expensive as you'd expect

I went here to fix my windshield.They work with the major insurance companies and fixed it within a day. Also have complimentary shuttle service to close areas while your car is being serviced, although if it's too far they won't pick you up. Courteous sales staff.

The service technicians are very careless and dont give importance to what the customer says.Its very expensive to buy parts here. I was charged $25 for an original key to my toyota camry. I got the key in Northridge for $10.More over, they were runninga promotion to get 2 movie tickets with $25 purchase....They did not give it up until I asked for it.

I bought my 4runner from this place. I love my car but their service is not the greatest. I went in to buy a light bulb for my backlight because it was out and I had told the customer service what car I had and which backlight it was for. She gave me this light buld and I paid for it. Before I walked out of the store I double checked with her to make sure it was right because I did not want to come back. So I left the store went home and tried to fix my light. Sure enought it was wrong. I was so mad I had to drive all the way back. When I got back there I told her how upset I was an how unconvenient it was for me to come back since I had double checked with her. All she did was apologize and have someone install the light bulb for me. I think that they should have done more. I do not recommend this place for getting parts since their people aren't knowledgeable
