Bought a guitar and an amp, two separate times, on eBay. Both times, the item was not as described. Customer service refused to take the items back or provide any type of compensation. Buyer beware

I went into this shop the other day to buy a used tube amp, and it was in great shape. They were very nice and helpful. That guy rich is cool! They just remodled, looks great! Doesn't smell bad in there anymore. Has that nice new carpet

BEWARE!!!!
These people are as bad as it gets!!
Make sure any transaction is a cash and carry deal or they will rip you off!!
Do not send any money thru paypal to them.
They never sent me an amplifier that I won at auction on ebay. I sent the money thru paypal.
I used the send money feature because I would have to use two different credit cards to equal the total amount due for the auction.
Seven days later someone at their store filed a nonpayment case with ebay.
I have the paypal transaction numbers which showed they had been completed so clearly they knew I sent the money. I called the store and talked to Kevin. He knew exactly which amp I was calling about and also said they got the payments. He said he would be right back he had to talk to the guy who handles paypal. He came back to the phone and told me they had a problem with the amp. He sad that it had been sold to someone else. This is what dishonest people do when they think they can get away with something. He told me they would have to refund my money which they never did. I called ebay and had to jump thru hoops with an ebay represenative to get the money back. Look at all the reports online from people they have ripped off.
Look elsewhere for music items. Somewhere that you can find honest people.
YOU WILL NOT FIND AN HONEST PERSON AT WORKING AT GRAVITY MUSIC GEAR. YOU WILL BE MUCH BETTER OFF TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

You get great deals here. I've had nothing but positive interactions with this store. I've bought 8 items from them online. All but one came exactly as described. The one item that did have an issue was well handled by their staff. I gave them a call and my problem was solved within 24 hours. They are professional, courteous, and knowledgeable.

I wish I could post a link to my items description. However it will not accept any web addresses so here is a cut and paste of the FULL item's description.

This Fender Rhodes is in good shape for its age and has cosmetic wear from previous travel and use. The tolex exterior has several rips and scratches on it. The amp grills have some small nicks and wear marks on them. The piano and amp turns on and all of the functions except the sustain work properly. One of the amp handles is missing. The keys are checking from age and work fine. Great for any player this Rhodes piano is ready to go!

"ready to go" piano had 7 non-working keys, 7 missing hammer pads, 2 missing tines, 1 missing tuning rod, no power cord, no paino-amp 5 pin connecting cable.

GMG was unwilling to negotiate any partial reiumbursement, would not even supply me with a power cord and 5-pin so that I could verify the working status of the piano.

Only offer was a complete refund if I spent 200$ to ship the item back. (After I paid to ship it here too)

I told them I could not afford 200$ out of my pocket. They had no compassion in helping out their customer on the issues. Look at the description of the item compared to the state it came in. I truly believe they misrepresented this item intentionally, knowing that shipping costs would prevent any chance of return. Their unwillingness to do any negotiation supports this belief. 120$ was my initial reimbursement request, which would cover all of the above issues. GMG answer: NO. I also asked for one half of that, answer NO. I asked for AT LEAST a power cord and 5-pin so that I could just play the piano at all. Answer: NO

I would highly recommend that you NOT do business with this group.

I hope that I can avert another customer from having a similar experience.
