I have been going to Animal Wellness for 4 yrs, and have had small annoyances in the past such as a vaccination was not given and I was charged an additional exam fee when I brought my dog back in for the shot. Due to Dr. Maddie Boles (who was excellent but has since left the practice) I retained them as my veterinary clinic. I recently brought my two dogs in for routine wellness exam, blood work, and vaccinations and heart worm testing. Yet another new vet tech and front office person, one who had been there only several weeks. I requested to see Dr. Aubry prior to the dogs getting blood work due to the need for certain blood panels as one dog is on multiple medications and my other dog is also required to have a liver panel for her med. I was assured by the vet tech that it was all in the files, and each dog was taken to the back for blood work. Then both dogs were given their vaccinations to presumably get them up to date on EVERYTHING. Upon requesting script renewals Dr. Aubry stated they need blood work for the medications. I stated that I thought that was done, and somehow the wrong tests or incomplete testing was done when the dogs were in the back. The poor dogs had to go to the back again for another stick which upset me and prolonged our visit. Due to the length of the visit the Dr. was too harried to write the scripts and requested to mail them. Wanting to leave at this point I acquiesced. I received the scripts several days later as promised, except of course he had forgotten to write the heartworm med script. I have to admit I was irritated at this point. After several calls to the vet office then to 1-800PETMEDS I was able to get the script filled. Thinking the cluster f... was finally done I was relieved until a few days later when I receive a notice from the vet's office that my dog is due for her rabies vaccination! I review my paperwork and realize they had missed that when vaccinating her....having just re-cleaned my brand new car 2 days prior which had dog hair everywhere I was livid at this point. I called and spoke with Christie the office manager and told her I was extremely upset with all the mistakes and the inconvenience and stress on the dogs to bring them back. She stated she would waive the exam fee and that was all she could do. I said of course you will...that is obvious, and I asked if that was all she was prepared to do and she rudely said yes and a few other things. I requested to speak to my vet and she smugly stated he was out of town for a week and a half. I could go on but the end result is these people DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE ANIMALS, nor do they have any business sense. I am tired of the extra fees, the callousness and the incompetence. I happily found another vet to give my dog her rabies shot?and with proof of a recent wellness exam waived the fee..smart because they now have new business by just extending a little common sense and courtesy.

Dr. Andy spent a great deal of time assessing what was going on with my 12 year dog. He provided several options and help us walk through the best care for our dog.
