Chop Stix Cafe

LOVE this place. It's relatively cheap for students and has everything from a sushi menu to Malaysian dishes. It's a good place to take parents who are visiting and is conveniently located near UF's main campus.

Chopstix has everything you could want when it comes to Asian dishes, from sushi to pad thai. This location is also fun to look at--a great view onto the neighboring lake, tons of over-the-top decor including koi...The menu has a full page of vegetarian options too. Everything is delicious and the servers are very friendly.

Maybe you like Thai food, but your significant other prefers Chinese. Just go to Chopstix Cafe and you'll both be happy, as will lovers of Japanese and Korean dishes. Prices are reasonable and servings of the tasty food are generous. Sushi goes for $1 per piece, though everywhere else I've been flying fish roe was orange rather than black caviar as it is here.
Getting there early is a boon, as the restaurant is popular and seats fill quickly. A dusk visit is recommended so you can watch the sundown over the lake. Can't wait around or don't like crowds? Get takeout.
