A buddy and I recently went there after a friends
recommendation. Wow. Cool place. Spent over $500 -for a party! Good inventory.
Went to check out and the clerk asked for ID....
then... when he thought we weren't looking (as my
buddy has been scammed before so while talking to me was actually watching the clerk) and the guy pulled out his personal cell phone and in one click photographed the buddy's credit card AND florida drivers licence. It was over in an instant as if he'd done this many times before.
He called him on it right away. The clerk stumbled and said "I was texting a buddy" but we are not stupid.
The other clerk, who was helping bag up our stuff, never even turned around- hmm.
Thus confirming our suspicions that THEY were scamming us. Why did the other guy not even turn around. We canceled the card as soon as we got out the door but he still has the photo of the licence. What he will do with it is anyone's guess.
At least he won't be able to use/sell the card. So watch out. Cops are on the case.

My first experience here was great until I found myself being set up by a lady and man trying to steal my husbands wallet. We caught on to them real quick and I think they knew it. I almost felt like the people behind the counter working at the store were in on it too because it was happening right in front of them. Then after I left and got home I looked at my receipt only to find the store charged me $29.99 for a $19.99 video. Buyers beware, I think they are running a couple of different scams in this place. Needless to say, they did not get my husbands wallet, as just as soon as we sensed what they were doing, he put his wallet in his front pocket!

Adult Video Warehouse is one of the best places to go to for movies, notions, potions, and lotions. Their prices are good, and their service is even better. I would suggest going there on one of those sleepless nights.

For adult videos, novelties and attire, this is a very classy place to shop. They make no bones about the fact that they cater to adults only (their signage is enormous), but at the same time they don't do it in a trashy way.

They are not discreet (see the signs) but they are hnot trashy.

You can walk in here and buy some fun stuff for the bedroom and never feel ashamed walking out - and that is a nice thing.

Their selection is quite expansive - in movies clothing and toys. It is adult one stop shopping at its finest.

This is a more upscale adult store. They have everything from sexy lingerie to a large selection of leather. They also have a large selection of toys, books and magazines. If you're looking for a gag gift or trying to plan a bachelor or bachlorette party, this is the place to go. If movies are your thing, half the store is devoted to videos and dvds.
