Food was delicious. No lunch, overpriced, cram you into the hibachi table when compared to other local restaurants. Not a lot of vegetarian options. I got the veggie plate and it was literally onions and zuchinni. They need to serve lunch w/ lunch appropriate prices and get more vegetarian options (tofu with an assortment of vegetables like shiitake etc.) and I will be back all the time!

Diners beware! This place opens around lunch-time and I went there one day for some lunch-time sushi. That night I fell dealthy ill from the food (from raw fish from which, I can assure you, is NOT pretty). I was up every 30 minutes through the entire night, hugging the toilet. I also had to call into work for 2 days because of vomitting, body aches, and chills. You would think that the fish served at the time a business opens would be the freshest. NOT HERE. I even wrote them a letter stateing what happened and that I would never dine there again. I gave them my name, address, and phone number in the letter as well. Did they ever call to simply apologize? Did they ever write back? NO. This is a pathetic excuse for a restaurant that needs to be examined by health officials ASAP. DO NOT EAT HERE!

Pros: NONE
Cons: everything including bad food
I have been to Sapporo many times and will continue to return. While the hibachi "show" is similar to others (big flame, twirling egg, etc), the food is absolutely the best we have encountered. The homemade dipping sauces are to die for as well. Excellent services is all we have ever experienced. The meal is not cheap, but it well worth the money as an occasional treat.

In the world of Japanese steakhouses, not all are created equal. Sapporo's is conveniently located near our home, and the quality of the food is superb. I love Japanese food and eat it often. This restaurant has become my favorite in the area because of the quality, freshness, and preparation of the food.
