Previously we received wonderful service from the Cumberland location and transferred our animals to Perimeter when we moved. Since our transfer we have been completely unhappy with customer service, vet service, and the overall experience at Banfield. When picking up our animals it takes over an hour (and no one else is in the hospital at the time), when we call for simple follow up questions we are told we must bring the animals in to the vet, when we are at the vet we are consistently being asked to purchase follow up care items (that we already have or purchased the last time or that are completely unrelated to the services we received) or accessories that we do not need. The overall location feels unwarm and unwelcoming to animals and people. The front desk coordinator does not have a clue what she is doing, and once sold me the incorrect medicine and then told me because I did not bring the dog in I could not have the item. It then took over 30 minutes to process my refund. Please, please do not take you animals to this location!

While Banfields are not the most personalized veterinary clinics because they are so large, the care they provide is outstanding. I have always found their staff in several locations to be wonderful. For owners of pups or kittens, their wellness plans save a lot of money on that first year of shots and sterilization surgery. My 8-wk. old purebred pup had parvo and was given a 25% chance of survival. The treatment was expensive, but they worked with us so that we could afford it AND they saved her life. We called several times a day, were able to visit whenever we wanted, and the staff/Drs made themselves available everytime we called or came by. I would recommend Banfield to anyone that doesn't need to feel like their vet is their best friend. These people love animals, provide wonderful care, and are very well equipped and knowledgeable.

Pros: Wellness plan saves, Long hours, Kind and well trained

Cons: A little impersonal, Staff turnover

.

It seems this office's only purpose is to push the Banfield wellness plan (insurance) and other unnecessary procedures, from the front office all the way to the actual vet pushing it. They were not at all friendly and the check-out took forever because the receptionist was on a personal call!
