This is really a good place. I was craving for Italian the other night and I found out about this place from some of my friends, I went here with my mother and we enjoyed every bite, from the breadsticks to the pasta.

Service was good but the food was lackluster, non-authentic and way over salted. The chef really needs to learn to use herbs and spices other than salt.

We just held a rehearsal dinner for 60 people for my son's wedding. People were still talking about how great it was at the reception! The set up was perfect, the selection worked well, the service was excellent!

The entire staff was pleasant, responsive, and easy to work with. The preplanning was simple and the follow-thru was right on. Sal Gentile played his wonderful music for us. Thanks for a great event!

I look forward to visiting the restuarant again and will recommend it to anyone who is planning an event!

Pros: Great Ambience, Fabulous Food & Service!

Cons: -

On the cosmetic side, the restaurant is great, the staff is wonderful and service is excellent. The restaurant has charm and a nice atmosphere.
As far as the food, I was quite disappointed, not by the presentation which again was excellent, but by the food itself. Lots of items were over salted (3 out of 3 people at the table thought the same thing), not cooked right and flavorless, hence the addition of salt.
Maybe I came on the wrong day, who knows...? Yet, based solely on this visit, I would not recommend this place nor would I intend to return.

Pros: Great restaurant setting, location, staff & service

Cons: Food is flavor less and too salty, way too salty...

The food is pretty good quality and the atmosphere is nice. I've been here with one other person as well as with a group and the service was great both times. I wouldn't come out of my way to go here, but I enjoyed it.

Went there last night with Valentines Day reservations - despite an unbelievable crowd, we were seated rather quickly at an awesome table. Our waiter, Marcus, was great, attentive and relaxed as always despite the busy night. We were pleasantly surprised that the prix fixe menu had so many courses and prime selections. Favorite part was the salmon entre which was huge, and the best tasting salmon I have had. We'll definitely go back.

Pros: Very diverse menu - even if you are not totally in mood for Italian, will be something to please such as seafood or steak. Can bring your own special bottle of wine for minor corkage fee.

Even with a reservation, there's often a short wait to be seated. Nice bar and old-time, diner-like atmosphere. The food is consistently good. The waiters are friendly and knowledgeable. It's a little loud and the atmosphere doesn't lend itself to a romantic dinner, so my husband and I like to go here with friends. We had the price fixed menu the other night. $39 for 3 courses, including wine -- great value and delicious as always. If you order wine by the glass, they serve it in a small carafe, which I like.

Pricci's kept us waiting for 45 minutes with a reservation for a special occassion and then tried to seat us in the bar. I asked to speak with the manager who was indifferent.

While the food was good, it hardly qualified as a fine dining experience as the price would indicate.

Visited Pricci with a large group of friends. The food was excellent and the chef came out to talk with us about wine and cheese selection. There were a couple of mess ups regarding some orders but they more than made up for it when we all got free desert. Our waiter was amazing and knew so much about the food and wine and kept the rest of the staff on their toes. The decor is chic and atmosphere is sophisticated and relaxing at the same time. I can't wait to go back!

We went to Pricci with a rather large group to celebrate some recent events, and had a great time. The food is amazing, and the chef even came out to speak with us. The braised short rib ravioli is excellent, I highly recommend it!

Just had one of the best meals of my life - Kobi Beef ravioli, started with simple, yet tasty caesar salad - just happened to luck out by staying at the hotel across the street - and all the other meals in our foursome were outstanding (wild mushroom pizza, with fontina cheese and carmelized onions (fantastic), artichoke and spinach tortellini, and a mushroom risotto). Each of the meals had simple, yet unique tastes and textures (tried them all). Service was delightful. Wait staff could not have been more accommodating. Very reasonably priced. Makes me wish I lived in Atlanta. I have never written a review of a restaurant before.

I've been to almost all of the Buckhead Life restaurants (Kyma, Nava, ATL Fish Market, Bluepointe, Buckhead Diner, Veni Vidi Vici) and, upon finishing my meal, I could never understand what all the fuss is about with these restaurants. I was never impressed by the food or the service. Pricci changed that for me. I went there for lunch and maybe that's the difference because I had been to all the others during dinner. The server was excellent. The food - amazing. I ordered the yellow fin tuna carpaccio which melted in my mouth and the gnocci which were to die for. I plan to go there for dinner for my birthday and I hope that the dinner can live up to the amazing lunch that I had at Pricci.

I have been to all of the Buckhead Life restaurants and Pricci is by far one of the best. I agree that some of them are not all they are cracked up to be, but Pricci rocks. The staff is extremely knowledgable and friendly and goes out of their way to make sure you have a great experience. The food is wonderful from the bread and dipping sauce for it all the way to the desserts. The Boston Sole fish that is parmesean crusted is amazing, one of the best dishes I have ever had at a restaurant period. Great place for a special occasion, and they have a great wine list for every price range. I will definatley return.

Pros: Great food, great wines

Cons: Can get really crowded, reservations a must, it is a little loud in the front room, sit in back if you want a more intimate experience

The BHL restaurants are not all they are cracked up to be. I agree with some of the negative postings about them. I think that the service is really lacking.

I took a group of customers to Pricci's in December 2006 and loved it so much, I returned with my husband for our anniversary in October 2007. Everyone agreed it was the best food. Service is fantastic, wine selection was delightful and I'm still craving the food. I will use whatever excuse I can to return to Atlanta just to dine at this restaurant.

My first drink order, a Grey Goose and soda, was not honored by wait servers (medicinal tasting vodka + soda instead). Tanqueray choice was honored for my second drink, but not on the second round (it was snake-bite gin). I strongly counsel you to return drinks the first round if they're playing you.

The cod was unevenly cooked. Espresso was not worthy of Starbucks (maybe Nestle instant? Not even Illy, unless they made coffee two days ago and warmed it up in a microwave). Went to use the restroom and urine was steaming in the toilet it was so cold!

IWe have been to this restaurant twice and loved it both times. We have already made reservations for our yearly holiday dinner. Both times our waiters have been very good and very knowledgeable about the menu.

Before ever going to Pricci , I used to drive by and see it on Pharr Road and always wanting to eat there. After the first time I was hooked.

Had only been to Pricci once, several years ago. Great service, our server had great knowledge of the wine list. Delicious calamari and prosciutto. My veal parm was overcooked (be aware that the portion is huge and the leg is still attached) and I heard around the table that both the sea bass and halibut were subpar. Will definitely be back but will stick to pasta.

I have always liked Pricci, but don't go there often enough because my wife hates it (not sure why--it's Italian, so that might be part of it). I think it's good food and the service has always been great. I guess it just doesn't come to mind when I think about amazing restaurants in Atlanta. I was shocked to hear about someone else's complaint on here re: the treatment she and her fiance received, but that would make me also never want to return to a place. I'm sorry this happened to her. If you're going to spend this amount of $$ on dinner, I would go elsewhere.

Overall, very disappointed with the service. Firstly, even though we had reservations, we were kept waiting for 20 minutes past our reservation time. Secondly, while trying to order a drink at the bar, we had to flag down the bartender several times before receiving attention and then had to virtually beg for our bill. Thirdly, our waitress was terrible, very inattentive and rude. Never brought one drink even when reminded, and kept refilling the other, "conviently" forgetting to mention that each time, we were being charged. Generally, the price of the food did no where near reflect the quality of serivce we received. Pricci should pay more attention to guests under the age of 35.

The food was better than good, though not very authentic Italian the chef clearly went out of his/her way for us. We practically had to 'make our own pasta' because I'm vegetarian & even though this is one of the more vegetarian-friendly places in Atlanta they didn't have what we wanted. They bent over backwards to accomodate all our special requests. The service was SO GREAT and attentive, customized food to wine recommendations that really made sense. Our waitress for the evening was truly the best I've seen in a long, long time. The place and the decor were charming - we loved it and i'll definitely be back.

Unlike some of the other reviews, I found my experience at Pricci to be average at best. It took over half an hour to be seated with a reservation and the service was nothing spectacular. The food was good, but not worth the price tag. I don't expect to be back any time soon.

My experience at Pricci was one of extreme attentiveness and luxurious decadence. I called in advance to make a reservation, and told the Maitre'd that I was bringing my mother with me for her birthday, after which I was assured it would be a memorable experience.

Fast forward two weeks. From the moment we stepped through the door into the eclectic yet cohesively decorated restaurant, the Maitre'd recogized our reservation without us even having to give a name. We were promptly seated and received a medley of appetizers. As everyone has said here, the marinara and goat cheese was absolutely to die for. As a wine enthusiast, I have to say that Pricci's wine list is extensive and appropriate for the cuisine. They carry several obscure wines from small vinters, and it was at Pricci's that I can safely say I enjoyed the finest Merlot I've ever had.

But I digress, this review is not about the food (though from the appetizers to the immaculately decorated dessert my mother received in honor of her birthday were all exquisite), it is about the service. Our server was very knowledgable about the menu, if a little soft-spoken, but what truly amazed me was the extensive service we received from the Maitre'd (who served us our entrees and desserts), the Manager (who came to introduce himself as he served our appetizers) and the Head Chef, who made it a point to stop by and wish my mother a happy birthday.

I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates a fine dining experience in a relaxed, yet refined atmosphere. Oh, and of course, there's the excellent food if all the other reasons don't quite entice you.

i made reservations to celebrate my engagement. my fiance and i went in thinking we would have a great celebratory meal. instead, i got RUDE service and faced a discriminating management staff! upon arrival, we were asked to wait at the bar. we were surprised when the hostess came to show us a table and it was in the corner of the bar, not the "dining room." they weren't busy and i asked if we could be moved to the dining room and she said no, because of what we were wearing! i had on city short and heels topped off with a coral satin tank top while my fiance was in a collared polo shirt and khaki cargos. i had a late friday night reservation and EVERYONE in the dining room was dressed the SAME way. we pointed out several caucasian guests in the dining room that were breaking their dress code and they brushed us off. they did not even bother to apologize when we walked out of there. i was so embarassed. while we were waiting for our car, the valet told us, '"They tell us not to let CERTAIN people in. if they ask why, it is because of the "dress code"' i did report this to corperate they have bent over backwards to make it right. they also told me that they do not have a dress code and if there is, it should be equally enforced. they have asked me to return to pricci to make it up, but i will NEVER dine at pricci. if we were in violation of a dress code, then ALL guests should be made to adhere to it. we ended up having dinner at J. Alexander's and they were great. it isn't buckhead dining, but it is nice to eat at a place that understands the value of good customer service and appreciates return business.

From the moment I was ushered in by the maitre'd I felt like this was a special place. Everyone was so gracious. Our waiter was very knowledgeable if a bit over the top, but service was excellent. I had the beef carpaccio with arugula and it was lovely. Stay away from the bread with the goat cheese and tomato spread. I had to try and not look at the that spread. Very addicting!!! My dinner companion had the shrimp risotto and I had the linguine frutti di mare and both dishes were excellent. I plan to go back soon and take friends. This will be on my list of favorite restaurants in Atlanta. Thank you, Pricci!

I read all the favorable reviews before going out to Pricci's, so I was expecting a good meal. The antipasti was okay, but my main course was terrible. I had the baked mediterranean sea bass filet. One of my favorite fish to eat. This meal was floating in some oily yellow liquid. This was not anywhere close to an average tasting main course. I couldn't taste the fish since it was drowning in this yellow liquid. So be ware.

As a small cafe, this place would do well. It would do even better outside Buckhead. But when you find a restaraunt on Pharr Rd., you expect to have some nice eats before enjoying the highlights of Buckhead's nightlife.

Pricci had food that did the job. Thoguh the food didn't really appeal to my palate, I had to appreciate the prompt service and the decent quality of the food we ordered. The facilities, however, were very lacking. The restrooms were small and the seating was uncomfortable.

For the $30 I spent eating here, I could have gone somewhere else that had the ambience and comfort I wanted. I think you should, too.

PROS: A walk away from partying in Buckhead
CONS: Poor ambience that lacks persona and comfort

I came to dinner there a few nights ago and not only was the food excellent, but the staff memebers knew who each table's name was, gave us ample time to each, approximately 15-20 minutes for each course and then 10 minutes between each course; Our dinner lasted around 2 hours. Everything was perfect, the atmosphere was private, was secluded, was quiet and romantic. I am referring you to anyone I come in contact with and I will always come back to you all. Thank you for making my evening special as I was celebrating having someone home from Iraq for a few days. Thank you again.

Good and bad.

Braised beef ravioli with root vegetable ragu was excellent. However, my lamb scaloppini was so tough I needed a steak knife. Fresh made bread is light and flavorful, but the prosciutto was bland and flavorless. Duck was plump and juicy, salmon was dry and overcooked.

We had a group of 12 so I was able to try a number of dishes. I have to say that only 3 were really impressive. The rest we just okay. All desserts were good. Its tough to recommend this place with so many other options available

Great atmosphere, good food, good portions, great wine list. This is a must for a date, or a special occasion. The marinara sauce with Goat cheese was to die for, the sea bass was excellent and the risotto was tasty.

Actually, I gave it way more than 3 tries. My family started going to Pricci a couple of years ago. My first visit was outstanding and left a great impression on me. I had the rack of lamb and was impressed. However, since then, the manners of the hostesses, the quality of service, and most importantly, the food have steadily declined and are now to the point of unbearable. I would like to recap our last visit, but this space will not allow a complete description of the catastrophe. In a nutshell, perhaps Pricci's success has gone to its head. There are too many restaurants in Atlanta where they bend over backwards to please you; Pricci is not one of them. Try Kyma instead!

Just because it has an Italian name and it is located in Buckhead does not make this place and Italian restaurant. I have eaten here on a few occassions to give it a chance thinking that the next meal will be better than the last. Coming from the north, this place is a Buckhead misconception. The food is good but it is not real authentic dishes, too americanized.

Tortelloni and Shell Pastas dishes didn't have a lot of flavor just saturated in butter. Better choices for Italian for your money in Atlanta.

I took my girlfriend to Pricci last week and had one of the better meals I have had since I have been in town. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was very nice. We had the calamari to start and it was very tasty. I had the Lasagna which was the best I have had in a long time and my girlfriend had the Linguini, and she loved it. This was a excellent experience and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great Italian meal here in Atlanta.

I went to Pricci on Tuesday night with my male friend. It was first time to go there, but as soon as we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by very attentive but friendly people. The waiter,( I really wanna metion his name, he is excellent server) was very knowledgeable to recommend us app. resotto, entree and wine. All food and Service is the best Italian in Atlanta!

FANTASTIC- the food, the service, the romantic atmosphere- eveything is great at this Buckhead hotspot. They make strong drinks and have an extensive wine list. The last 2 years I have spent Valentine's Day there and although the wait is a little long, the restaurant is decorated so perfectly and it sets a great mood for the night!
