The Jimmy Carter Presidential Library includes more than a library. You can visit the museum and see a special reproduction of the Crown of St. Stephen and some of the unique Head of State gifts.

They also offer school tours (which must be set up in advance) and frequently offer special exhibits. I enjoyed visiting the Presidential Library and would recommend it as part of a visit to Atlanta.

Although I did find our visit to the Jimmy Carter Library and Museum very educational, I also found it a bit boring. Naturally, this museum focuses around Jimmy Carter. It tells about his youth, his life in the Navy, his marriage to Rosalynn, his early political career in the 1960s and '70s, his Presidential campainging and, of course, his Presidency. There is a full size replica of The Oval Office when Jimmy Carter was President, which I did find kind of interesting. To be honest, I found the area containing the Gifts of State and the Museum Store to be the most "exciting" areas.
