Excellent food. Went there twice with my wife and once with a couple of friends. One time it was very crowded (I think it was some Ethiopian holiday or a soccer day or something) but the food was still great.
Highly recommend it.

The best Ethiopian restaurant in ATL.Very convenient
for a group. Ten of us went to Queen of Sheba Thursday night and we had an amazing time. The food was excellent, the service was very efficient and live jazz
was playing. I strongly recommend this restaurant.

Pros: live jazz

I love the honey wine! The food was very good, but unfortunately, as the menu is not very descriptive and I'm not well-versed in Ethiopian cuisine, I ended up with some very rare ground beef. Not quite to my like. So, if you are like m and don't know what you're doing in an Ethiopian restaurant, ask for help. Reasonable prices.

Queen of Sheba has good Ethiopian food. I have been going there for several years. Unfortunately, I think the quality has slipped a bit in the last 2-3 years, but it's still above average.

The atmosphere is welcoming, especially for first-time non-Ethiopians. The staff is willing to help you select a dish if you are unfamiliar with the options. The prices are fair, and service is generally very good. Sheba is a good choice for Ethiopian food, especially if you have never had it before.

I confess that I love Cottage Ethopian far more, and haven't been back to Queen of Sheba since I discovered Cottage. However, the atmosphere is pleasant and the vegetarian items are reliably good.

They serve very good food, but that is about it for me. The restaurant is too dingy, and too far, and the bathrooms are kind of icky. It is not expensive though.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta. The service is always friendly, the food is always amazing, and the atmosphere is relaxing and cozy. This restaurant is a great date place for couples that enjoy unique dining experiences. This isn't a good dining option for stubborn "meat and potatoes" people, but a great option for people who enjoy ethnic dining and new food experiences.

I always get the meat and vegetable platter that comes on top of the injera. I always trade out the tripe though for extra chicken or lamb instead. Everything is wonderful and the food pairs up very well with red wine.

Pros: One of my favorites, Great Atmosphere, Wonderful Food, Friendly Service

The service at the Queen of Sheba exceeded expectations as servers were warm and friendly. The food was well worth the wait, and the price was affordable for a family of four. I do recommend ordering appetizers, as the wait for your entree may take a while, but the atmosphere allows for excellent conversation as you wait for your meal. Whether a vegetarian or meat eater, Queen of Sheba has something to offer that provides great food with an excellent cultural experience.

This was my first try of Ethiopian food so I have nothing to compare it to, but I will say that it was not good. I consider myself pretty open to eating various ethnic foods and haven't tried one that I didn't like yet. I felt that this restaurant was expensive for what we got ($10 for one chicken leg, on hard boiled egg and some sauce - yes, ONE chicken leg). The beer was reasonable ($3.50 a bottle). The service was lacking and because we had 6 people at the table, they automatically charged us an 18% tip. I know I will not be going back to this restaurant and I don't think I'll be eating Ethiopian food again.

I am always up for trying food from different countries, but to this day, nothing is probably as unique to me as Ethiopian food. Queen of Sheba was a great introduction to this wonderful cuisine. It is a very unique experience. I went with an Ethiopian friend which helped but a novice can be helped by the great staff. The most unique thing about this place is that you are not given plates to eat on, rather there is one large dish in the center of the table that the whole group eats from. It was a great experience.

The food at Queen of Sheba was wonderful. We didn't sit at a regular table, instead we eat in this weaved basket table, that is traditional to Ethiopia. The food was really delicious and the menu has is in English with descriptions to let the customers know what the items are. The portions are large and the prices are reasonable, you can order a meal and spend ten dollars. They also give you time to sit and let your food digest without rushing the bill over. The also have authentic deserts and coffee.

Great food, great service, fun atmosphere. One of my favorite places to eat in Atlanta when I'm looking for something a little different. For those who haven't tried Ethiopian before, this restaurant is a great introduction!

If you haven't had Ethiopian, abandon all desire to eat your meal with utensils before you go. For me, this restaurant served as a good introduction to Ethiopian cuisine. Taking a large group here allows everyone ends up trying just about everything. If you're a small group, try getting one of the sampler platters.
