The Filling Station

This restaurant carries a great variety of sandwiches and short order types of food. The prime rib sandwich is really good, as is everything I have ever tried. I recommend this when a fancy restaurant is not desired...this is one where you can go as you are: very casual and comfortable.

Great food selection, whatever you want they have it. Donnie the owner has been there 35+ years. Not many restaurants can make that claim. In addition, This Place is a Museum that should charge admission to see the collection of valuable old stuff. Go there you won't be sorry.

Whenever I feel like having a great burger at an affordable price, I head over to The Filling Station. The Filling Station is easy to find and has great food. They have great service, food, and a great atmosphere. The Filling Station does get alittle crowded sometimes, but otherwise its a great place to eat if you can get in right away. They also have free popcorn for while you wait for your food. The Filling Station has a great drink selection for if you like beer or pop. The Filling Station has great priceson all their food and is definately a place for you to check out.

Cold beer, Friendly people and fantastic food.
Usually overly crowded but actually worth the wait.
If you hang out and drink a few beers plus dinner it can be somewhat expensive.
They have the best Hot Wings in the Quad Cities.

PROS: Great Wings, Nice Atmosphere
CONS: Usually crowded around dinner time
