I thought getting my car fixed would cost an arm and a leg, but luckily Marvin's Auto repaired my car for a really low, reasonable price. Cheaper than all the other quotes I received from other places. And the service was top notch! Everything worked out perfectly.

Marvin will stand up in my wedding. I found this guy randomly and he's always patched my 91 toyota corolla together with ease and at 30% of the cost of anyone else. He's also good between distinguishing between the "you need it for a smoother ride" and "you need that or you're gonna die" repairs. He also takes the time to show you the old parts so you know exactly what's going on (or at least you nod and pretend you know what's going on like I do).

Finding a company that you feel comfortable to use for your car can be a lifelong search and believe me it took me several years before finding a reliable and honest mechanic facility. I like Marvin's Auto Repair and feel that they treat me as a top customer. The price is fair but the service and honesty are the key to my happiness here.

The power window in my Explorer quit working and the quote from the local dealership was $700+ to fix and it would be a week turnover. Came in to Marvin's Auto and everyone was very helpful and the work was done later that afternoon for less than half of what the dealership wanted. Ill' be coming back.

Marvin was fantastic. I stopped in last Friday morning to get a quote on my car. Needed complete frame work, shocks, and struts. Check engine light was on, ABS light was on, and a tune-up was needed. Marvin quoted me $1250 for everything and he could have it back to me by noon on Saturday. He gave me a loner car just in case I needed to get anywhere on Friday and Saturday morning. Went to pick up the car at 11am Saturday morning, and he had change filters, topped off all fluids, and gave me an oil change in addition to all the work that needed to be done and he did not charge me 1 cent over the quote.

I found Marvin through my uncle when my Ford Explore was having problems. I was told by another mechanic that I needed to have all new ball joints. This was going to be over $3000 worth of work. I went to see Marvin and told him I needed a quote to have all my ball joints replaced. After he had my car for an hour he called back and said I needed to have 2 shocks replaced and one new tire. This totaled $200 worth of work. Because he was honest with me I was sold. I have taken 3 different cars to him. He is always fair, honest and never tries to screw me. I have recommended him to many friends who have all had great experiences! For as long as I live in the Chicago area I will bring my car to Marvin's. I showed it to Marvin, and he gave a firm quote that was 45% OFF the estimate. It was worth bringing the car all the way to Chicago, and things worked out great. The prices always seem to be about 30-50 percent less than others. They are fast and efficient. They use quality parts, and do quality work If we weren't happy, we wouldn't spend our money there.
