My husband and I went here for the New Years Eve party last year, and we had a great experience. The atmosphere was fun, they had great drink selections, good wine recommendations. Price was decent too, especially on such a typically expensive holiday!

The best wine shop in the city, in my book. I love the two huge tables' worth of wine under $12, each with a great description. But who needs descriptions when you can walk in and say, "I'm having pork with apples tonight," and they'll present you with the perfect bottle of wine? They also have an amazing selection of unique beers and other kinds of liquor. Shopping here is an experience all on its own.

Finally you don't have to be overwhelmed with the selection at large liquor store or pretend like you know enough to go into a speciality wine shop. In Fine Spirits is a small independently run wine shop that is worth going to. The staff tries every wine that they sell so it is like going to pick up a bottle that your friend recommends. They are helpful and not at all snobby. There is a section that is great wines for $12.00 or under, so I visit often. There is also a wine bar next door that just opened and is also great!
