I went to all wild things a couple years ago with my ferret and I will be the first to admit I was very unsatisfied, I felt the same way as some of the bad reviews I read on this page, but when my bearded dragon got wasn't acting right, I went back in and it was like they turned a new leaf. The vet techs were very nice and the doctor seemed more willing to help than my previous experience. I felt like I was over charged on my last visit but like every one has been saying, they started giving out these estimate things. They show what Im paying for and also give me options for what kind of medications I could give or choose not to if it doesn't fit into my budget. I really have to admit that they have finally changed but better late than ever, and it was in time to help my bearded dragon.

This Doctor went out of her way to help me with my weasel. I was completly in the dark about how to care for her. She had been brought in as a baby and I couldn't find a dr. to take care of her. She actually closed her office and came to my work to meet me. She was very knowedgable and I was amazed by her ability to size up the situation. She was honest and helpful and I am very thankful to have found her. Later, I aquired two ferrets and would not even think about going elsewhere.

I recently spoke with her about doing surgery on one of my ferrets and was given a written estimate for all charges and the staff was great because they explained what every single charge was, why it was recommended and how much the options cost. I was then able to work with Dr. B to create a personalized treatment plan that fit my budget. I was very happy with the surgery and the cost was exactly what she said it would be. Her staff even rememered me when I called with questions. The personal service was great. Try this Vet!

PET LOVERS BEWARE
When I took my guinea pig to All Wild Things, the service was very poor. It was clear the vet only cared about how much money she could make from my pet. He had stopped eating and was very sick. She wanted me to pay 200.00 a week and keep him in an oxygen tank for months. She ended up selling me a bunch of products to try and keep him alive since I could not afford to do this. Then when I asked her to give him fluids before we left, the vet tech rapidly injected him with fluids in the waiting area. He convulsed and died. They tried to charge me for all the supplies I had bought, but finally agreed to take them back. They also said he died because I would not put him in the oxygen tank and leave her with him (although it was clear he probably had cancer or some other terminal disease).

I recently called them to find out where my pet had been sent when he was cremated. The receptionist first told me all pets were sent to Pause and Remember, Inc when my pet died. I asked her to please double check. She was very impatient and said she would check, but then she put me on with the vet. The vet was very rude, telling me that they had no idea where my pet was since they used so many services at that time. I told her that the receptionist should have told me this. The vet was very argumentative and told me that if I really cared about my pet I would have checked about where he was sent when he died. When I reminded her about my horrible experience, she told me I didn't even have to pay for the fluids he was given. How rude and insensitive! If you care about your pet, take them somewhere else!

Dr. Beth is wonderful. She took great care of my piggy. I had him neautered an she advised me to have him lose weight first before attempting surgery. She puts the animals best interest above what she can make that week. The staff took good care of him, called me with updates and sent him home - happy to live with the girls. She has provided indepth health exams, analysis, and advice with all my pigs.

We board our houserabbit there quite a bit. He has issues with eating which leads to bad poop and they are always good about adhering to directions when he stays. They are knowledgeable on rabbits and I feel confident leaving Atlas in their care. They accommodate his size too. At 20 lbs a regular cage doesn't cut it. They also remember that he likes to be out and about more than some. He never seems stressed even for 7 day stints. I would recommend them for other rabbit owners as this is all I'm qualified to comment on.

I take my guinea pig here and the vet is fantastic. She is very knowledgeable and talented. I wouldn't trust my guinea pig with anyone else. My guinea pig had to have a complicated surgery and the fees were very reasonable. I ended up having to pay a lot less than I expected. The clinic also offers payment plans if you can't afford all of it up front. The only time I was disappointed was when they charged extra for my guinea pig's suture removal after the surgery. I would consider that a part of the treatment/procedure, but I know I'm getting the best care for my pet, so it's worth it.

I was quoted one price on the phone, and then charged much more at the office. They refused to show me how to trim my bird's wings and toenails, wanting me to take her to them each time this was needed. What a waste of money and time! I have also switched to the avian doctor near 465 and Michigan on the north side of town. They are experienced, reasonable, friendly and well-priced at this office.
