Not different from all the other Bertucci's, but it's great for BU students who need somewhere nice to take their parents when they visit if they don't want to venture too far.

Pros: food, location

Cons: gets really busy when there's a Sox game

.

I've tried my luck at multiple Bertuccis locations around the city, hoping maybe my experience had been a fluke, but they just keep proving me right. To say it was terrible is unfair. it wasn't. It was just alltogether forgettable, but what you remember, you wish you didn't. The food was so salty it was pushing inedible. The staff have been sullen on good nights, or downright rude on the bad. I've been ignored, forgotten by waitstaff for long spans of time, and best of all, had appetizers we've ordered be forgotten altogether, only to be remembered when we recieve the check, as if we would really pay for food we were never served. I'm not a tough girl to please folks. I'm an excellent tipper--it's just good karma. But the service at Bertuccis really pushes my generosity to it's limits. If you want good italian, make the trek to the North end...it's worth the trip.

Pros: Many convenient locations, hence the multiple trips...

Cons: food & service

.

I've given Bertucci's - both the Kenmore Square and Harvard Square locations - numerous shots at this point. At no point have I ever walked out feeling really satisfied. I've either been ignored when I walk in, ignored after I've been seated, waited too long to order, waited too long for my food, waited too long for my check, gotten the wrong order, gotten cold food, gotten rude service... and never on particularly busy days. I'm a pretty easygoing person, and it takes a lot for me to complain about something, and that's why I've continually gone back to them - the convenience is good, and the prices are good. But the lack of service and the below-quality food just aren't worth it.

Pros: Cheap Italian with lots of locations

Cons: Inconsistent service and meal quality

Ahh Bertucci's. This is the essence of great Italian/American food. They offer generous helpings of pasta, some awesome bread with olive oil and seasoning, and a delicious chicken parmigiana that stands out from the rest. Also, I'm a huge fan of their rigatoni, broccoli, and chicken dish.

While the menu offers a ton of your old favorites, they can most likely be found elsewhere for less. However, one thing Bertucci's offers that your run of the mill pizzeria may not is their seasonal menu. Choose from salads, steaks, fillet minion, chicken, and fish, something for everyone. All in all, this is a great place to eat if you're not ready to spend the bigger bucks associated with some of Fenway's higher priced digs, such as Cask N' Flagon, Beerworks, etc.

This bertuccis location is pretty good yet i have had better. Their pizza was definately up to par but i would not reccomend the caprese appetizer. It is very vinegary which is uncharacteristic of how it is supposed to taste. Besides that it yas pretty good.

The problem with giving an overall rating to this place is that the pizza is good and everything else is awful. I made the mistake of getting lobster pasta -- pretty much the worst pasta I've ever had. But the pizza is consistently pretty good.

We have 2 Bertucci's in Marlboro. The 1 on Rt 20 is awful-slow, loud...yuk. But the other is a gem! Excellent service, quick considering how mobbed it always is and best of all, it LOADS on the shrimp on my (2) favorite Pizzas! The pasta and salads are always great. I tried the salmon last week...that too was superb. Somewhat pricy compared to the corner pizaa shop, but worth it once a month!

Pizza and food are totally over rated here. Pizza,s
are hit or miss (mostly miss). toppings are skimpy
and not always as fresh as advertised and have experienced several soft, mushy, soggy crusts. I can't beleive this place was rated ahead of santarpio's.

This place is highly overrated! The service stunk and the food was not much better. My wife and I were very disappointed in the quality. The price of the food was too high. LaScala in Randolph is much much better.

I would not rate Bertucci's among the best pizza in Boston. Their pizzas are almost always undercooked, resulting in floppy, soggy doughy pizza and cheese that is never browned. I'd much rather have a slice from Regina's or even Tommy's in Cambridge.

Yea, Pizzeria Regina is a piece of Boston heritage, and a perfect destination for a hungry tourist after a long day of touring the North End. But, if we are strictly talking Best Pizza, then the prize simply has to go to Bertucci's. I'll admit that it depresses me a little, growing up in a city well known for really superb pizza shops, that a chain restaurant should take first prize, but I'm sorry taiste buds don't lie.

Bertuccis is simply the best around. Once you are in the parking lot and you smell the brick oven going you are in heaven. Nice place, and great food and great prices. Pizzas are perfect, and the sandwiches are great. And dont forget the fresh baked rolls. And I could eat just appetizers, from the wings to the breadsticks with olive oil and roasted garlic, my mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Bertucci's approach to pizza seems to be to try as many odd and unusual ingredients as possible as toppings. When eating a Bertucci's pizza, these odd flavorings are overwhelming to the point that it doesn't taste like anything even closely resembling classic Italian pizza. Ditch the hot spices, weird veggies and chicken. Let's go for some classics like peppers, onions, mushrooms, pepperoni, hamburg, sausage, meatball and real Italian sauce.

This concept has become corporately mediocre. It used to be a good product, but has become a victim of over management. Too many bean counters trying to do a restaurant.

I never eat there when I have a choice because it ALWAYS seems that the pizza tastes burned! I have tried a few different non-pizza dishes and hated them all. Their rolls are amazing, and the only thing I'll eat there.

I happen to think Bertucci's has very good pizza! I absolutely love their thin, non-greasy crust, the variety of styles (yes, even authentic Italian style's), and the combination of herbs they use makes for one satisfying pizza! I go as often as I can with friends. It certainly beats the cheese off of most of the greasy pizza joints around here.

The worst...soggy, with tomatoes right out of the can. Incredibly, they think this is a good enough "sauce" to display the cans themselves! Just smooshed up hunks of absolutely tasteless tomatoes with the blandest cheese mixture I've ever tasted. No romano...or tastes like none. Just soggy pizza, which is so watery from the tomatoes from the can that the entire topping always slides off. This is a slick marketing idea...Bertucci's is nothing more. Sadly, its near my home and I occasionally have to suck it up and take my kids there when too busy to buy an actual pizza in the city...like the original Regina's. By the way, there aren't many choices in real NY style, thin crust pizza in Boston. If you are from elsewhere in the county--you've probably had better than everything in this city other Regina's in the North End

The pizza is B E S T in the USA. I travel all over and compare Bertucci's to them all. Chicago is too tomatoey, New York can't even try and compete, San Francisco is caught up on Pinapple and ham, yuk, it supposed to be flavorful and Italian. Bertucci should expand nationwide!!! They should also better train the cooks, as we had to tell them that the pizza had incorrect toppings, but was still good!
