This is another casual little diner with a good selection of sandwiches. I liked my food when I ate there. Most diners have pretty good prices which this one did as well. I would recommend it

I was quite surprised to read the former review on Happy Days Diner, we are frequent customers, and have always enjoyed the atmoshere, food and prices. Many of our friends and relatives also eat at Happy days, and when talking with all of them about this negative review, they all agree with us, when we say, that this person must have something personal against the owner. If this really happened, why did they not ask to speak with the owner? We have never had any complaints, the price is right, the food is fresh and always great. Our kids love it there, as well as my parents and my husbands parents. If this incident really happened, it was unfortunate, but, my mother always told me, that there are 2 sides to every story, so I hope my view of the Diner will help others to see, that this is a wonderful 50's diner and the price is right for a whole family to enjoy a bountiful breakfast. We are hooked on it.

Pros: The food is great and the price is right

Cons: I wish they had dinner hours

We made the unfortunate mistake today of selecting Happy Days for breakfast. Finding food on my fork before I ordered should have been my first cue but it happens that sometimes dishwashers miss baked on foods. Our meals included a bacon, egg and cheese on a bagel dripping with grease, old/bland home fries, reheated chewy bacon and the meal topper, my son's late arrived side dish of four sausages. As the waitress went to hand it to him she noticed a long hair hanging from the plate and pinching it with her fingers she pulled off a good 12" long hair that was obviously under the sausages as one of them rolled when she pulled the hair free. She apologized and offered to get him another then took it to the kitchen and returned with another plate less than a minute later. It didn't matter, the damage had been done. Between the dirty utensils, (the others were food free but didn't look well cleaned) greasy food, hair in the sausage and old bacon we were completely nauseated as things got progressively worse and stopped eating. When she came back I asked for the check and she asked if everything was okay. I told her we were turned off and nodded at the untouched sausages. She seemed surprised that we'd refused to eat it, offered an apology and a "sorry, these things happen" and then tried to convince us that it turned out it wasn't a hair at all but a string from the eggs." Baloney, three of us saw a foot long human hair that rolled a sausage and didn't break when she pulled it out and say what you will but I do believe the sausages were the same. Whether they were replaced or not she should've been understanding that hair in our food would turn us off. The final straw was that she didn't even offer to remove the untouched sausages from the bill.

Gross, gross, gross. Now I know why the walls are pepto bismol pink from floor to ceiling. To help you keep your meal down.
