Tags Hardware

shop at Tags Ace Hardware mostly for one or two items that I have to have quickly - for whatever reason. If I don't want to drive out to the nearest Home Depot - Tags is where I go. Their prices are definitely higher than the big-box stores, especially for non hardware stuff. But, their items and service make it a great neighborhood indie type store. If you sign up for their mailing list, they often send out great coupons and sales flyers!

This hardware store is always busy. Every time I go there not only is it hard to find a sales clerk to help me, the registers always have lines of customers. Other than that, the store is attractive, and they have a wide selection of items. They have a large parking lot, but it is frequently crowded, so parking could be a problem. This store is a good choice if you are not pressed for time, and you can get there on foot, so you won't have to be concerned about getting a parking ticket.

PROS: Good selection.
CONS: Always busy, parking is a problem
