The Bread Basket has provided birthday cakes for our children's party's for the last 6 years. Every year a different theme, a big top for a circus party, a constuction zone, a tomas the tank, a pink frilly cake for a princess party, an under the sea topsy turvy cake, and cup cakes for one. Each and every year the cake becomes a ceterpeice for planning the party and the kids can't wait to see what the bread basket decorators come up with next:) Thanks Bread Basket!

I don't have a favorite because i just love most of the desserts.
That scrumpcious apple pie. And cheese cake cup cakes. they make my mouth water. And thier bread, Angie made me French toast with the bread from the bakery.It was to die for. My brother Tony said thier soups where the best he ever ate and he Just loved every thing from the Bread Basket. I can't wait to get some more pie.

My partner and I were visting Saratoga and looking for a late morning snack before our spa day. Having never been in before, we didn't know what to expect, but the Bread Basket scratched us just how we like it! I had a tasty croissant and Gary had a breakfast sandwich on a homemade english muffin. MMM MMM MMM. The coffee was hot and fresh and they had a great selection of juices to get your juices flowing. One of the owners, Matt, couldn't have been more polite and helpful. He brought us treats and chatted with us too. When we told him we hoped to go dancing at Vapor Nightclub later, he not only gave us directions to the "Racino" but told Gary all about how the racing worked over there. Thanks to Matt's "chat" Gary won almost $300! What a great place!

We will continue to give them our business as they are a pleasure to deal with and are locally owned.
I should also add that they've been having live music in the morning on weekends, which has been a great thing.

Although it is a convenient place to eat downtown with its own parking, the food just doesn't cut it. The bread is always dry. They seem to cut corners from everything from the quality of the food to the cheap, flimsy paper plates they serve it on. AND, they do not wear gloves when preparing your sandwiches. Avoid this place and their outrageous prices.

Dear Jen S. - As you can imagine I would love to see you back at the bakery. We get very few negative reviews and were surprised to see this one. I assure you that the staff is constantly warned and disciplined for not wearing gloves and we have put measures in place to assure this rule is followed. Flimsy paper plates - we agree! We don't like them either but a washing machine is required for ceramic plates and the bakery has no room for one right now. Thanks so much for the feedback!has really good options for breakfast, brunch, and/ or lunch. i love their sandwiches and it is perfect for a midmorning or late afternoon snack also.

If you're looking to put a basket of treats together for a friend, I recommend Breadbasket as a place to stop in to get one of their desserts. (Along with Mrs. London's and Putnam Market.) It's kind of tucked away because it's not on the main strip of Broadway, but they have ample parking. Sandwiches and soups are delicious as well!

A cute little restaurant just off of Broadway. Does have a limited selection of foods but the sweets are absolutely delicious. Usually have pretty good soups.

Our soups are made by us from scratch everyday!The Bread Basket is a hidden gem of Saratoga. Located off the beaten path, tourists don't know it's there so it's not as bustling as some of your other sandwich shops in the area. They have great lunches, soup, salads, and sandwiches, that come with a $1 dessert treat! Great deal--and their desserts are to die for. I would go there just to get a cake for a friend's birthday or even just a loaf of bread.
