Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse

My parents and I went out to the city for the weekend and deceided to visit Del Frescos for dinner for the second time in about 1 month. Food is outstanding! Could not be better. Just if your going be sure to have a full stomach because all of the food is excellent and you will be wanting more!

I think Del Frisco's is one of the best steakhouses in NYC. The place is beautiful with huge 2 story windows that look out to the street. The steaks are mouthwatering, and the typical steakhouse sides are out of this world like creamed spinach or the mac and cheese. But the real side winner is the creamed corn with bacon! The wine list is extensive, but the somelier can help you make a perfect selection to go with your meal. Or try their homemade pineapple martini! You can't go wrong with any selection off of this menu. Of course, you are going to have to pay for the experience, but totally worth it. Reservations are a must.

Del Friscos is by far my favorite steakhouse. Everything is always perfect. The place looks great, the waitstaff is great, and the steaks are great. I simply cannot say enough about it. Its expensive, but its Manhattan, its steak, and its a great restaurant.

The upstairs bar is very tight if you eat up there, but if you make a reservation, you will get a great table, because all of the downstairs tables are great.

Make a reservation. Regardless of what they tell you on the phone, make one. There is no availability at the bar, you need a reservation.

We went there for our first wedding anniversary. This restaurant was well worth it. The food was great. The ambience of it is also very nice. Although they are a bit pricey the staff of the restaurant make you feel so at home you dont mind it. They are also located in the theater district so it is very convenient to go there for dinner before/after seeing a Broadway show which is what we did. Definately would go back and/or recommend it to a friend.

I love this restaurant. The service is always phenomenal and the food is amazing. I love the halibut, love the mashed potatoes and asparagus and always come back for the creme brule. In addition, the bartenders are great. Not only do they make amazing drinks with flair but on the fly they can create some spectacular ones that will leave you coming back for more. The location is great and it's a nice spot to meet people and get a little something at the bar even if you are not up for a full dinner.

PROS: Great location, food and always someone knowledgeable about wines
CONS: A bit of a wait

This is my favorite place to have a steak. The food is excellent and the service is better than any steak house I have ever been to in New York. Peter who?
