When my friends and I heard Linkin Park would be playing here, we had to get tickets. It was our first experience at this Convo Center, but it was great. There's a lot of seating, with more expensive seats at the front, and going back in price as you go towards the back of the Convo. The attendants are great in helping you find your seats. The sound system is great and helps you hear the band, instruments, and lyrics perfectly. I don't know how the seating is, considering we stood up the whole time. Sweet concert, great center.

I saw David Bowie at the Convocation Center at Cleveland State University on January 7, 2004. It was a great concert! The place is very big and can hold many people. The ticket prices are pretty good as well. The place can get really crowded, so there is usually a long wait for the restroom. The restrooms were clean. The whole place was clean. The prices for food and drink are pretty high. We got some nachos and cokes which were good, but put out too much money. In general, this is a good place to see a concert, unless you want an intimate or cozy setting. This is a huge building that can hold a lot of people. Parking was not a problem from what I saw. I took a cab, so I am not sure about the parking situation.

We've been to the Convocation Center many times. Each time was a pleasant experience for me and my family. They have changed the name to the Bert L and Iris S Wolstein Center but that's the only thing that's changed.

You'll find concerts, boxing events, soccer and other things there. It's always a clean place as well. It's a very good venue to have a nice time in.

I've been to a few concerts at this arena, and have had different results each time. I think it depends on where you sit in relation to the stage. If you're sitting pretty far away from the stage and/or are pretty high up, the sound doesn't travel as well and the accoustics aren't great at all. If you're closer to the stage, it doesn't seem to be a problem. The last concert I went to the accoustics were awful, and there was almost an echo in the arena. The band sounded OK, but it all seemed to come from the accoustics. Of course, for sporting events, it doesn't matter where you sit in terms of sound. You can hear and see the game on the scoreboard and big screen, even if you're not close.

I have attended many events at the Cleveland State Convocation Center. They have all been an exceptional experience. Fantastic facility with friendly, helpfull staff, the place has always been clean when I've been there...even the ladies room. They host a wide variet of events at varying prices. A place I highly recommend to enjoy an evening out.
