After calling a few vets in the area, I called Queens Village. They asked what vet I was transferring from and when I told them, they told me they are not accepting new clients! I am furious!

i have to echo what others have said here about queen village. we have NEVER been happier anywhere with actual vets -- the doctors here are hands down fantastic, sensitive, and even though the DO spend a lot of time with you and your animal, you always wish there was more -- just because the benefit is so high!

but the office staff there... once in a while a newer, fresher person shows up who is friendly. but for the most part, the ones who have been there a long time are not even easy to have eye contact with. snippy, cold, and sometimes outright rude. the office staff at queen village is the gauntlet you have to run to get to that great dr. mc guire and dr. wellens... but i wish it wasn't that way.

The front office staff here is not the people who would be smiley-friendly type, but they do care about animal affairs. They have always been very helpful and sincere whenever I walked in, asking for suggestions to find aqdopters for homeless animals. The vets here are excellent. Every time I take my dog here, they explain everything very clearly. If I have questions, they will spend time to answer all of them, until I am free of doubts and uncertainties. It is on the pricey side, but it's well worth the money you pay for your special one.

Pros: truly caring, excellent vets, clean facility

Cons: wait for med pick-up

My experience with the vets have been average, nothing spectacular. However, as we all know, the key that holds any office together is the reception staff and the front of the office staff. These employees at queen's village are either jaded, unhappy with their career paths, or both. I have been going there for long enough to know that my experience is not a fluke. They never smile, they always look overwhelmed and because of that, they never have a pleasant disposition. If I weren't going there to deal with my beloved animals health I wouldn't mind so much. They need to realize that vet offices aren't the run-of-the-mill customer service industry and raise their standards.

Queen Village Animal Hospital is the #1 place I would suggest taking your beloved pets. The doctors are amazing, the staff is accomodating and warm, and the service is top notch for the various animals they care for. I was not only in disbelief (I dont get treated so well AT MY DOCTOR'S OFFICE) but surprised at their sincerity, concern, and willingness to see my dog, even at last minute, if there was any issue. The docs explain everything in a detailed fashion and you feel completely secure leaving you beloved pet to them.

Good hours, reasonable rates, helpful office staff, and vets who take the time to care and explain things to you.

They do not push unnecessary products or procedures and show true concern for the animals.
