VERY clean place. Not sure when it was built, but it seems newer. If it is not newer, then even more cudos for the cleanliness. The staff is very friendly and all seem very professional, even the receptionists seem knowledgeable and everything seems to be communicated smoothly from the animal care professionals to the people who answer the phones.

Plymouth Animal Hospital is a one of a kind pet clinic. Not too many places in the area give the compassionate care that Plymouth does. They treat all the animals as if they were their own. Much appreciation going out to everyone at Plymouth Animal Hospital.

We went here the other week for my pup' s check up and was very impressed by the hospitality of the staff. The facility smelled wonderful for an animal hospital and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I will bring my dog in for future check ups.

This was a very nice experience for my Roddy and I. The staff was extremely nice and took us in right away without an appointment. The cost for treatment wasn't expensive at all and they did a wonderful job with the procedure.

This is an excellent place to bring your pets. The staff is very impartial and attentive towards their patients. We never have a long wait time and and the vet also does a wonderful job with the procedure and explaining everything about it. This is my number one choice when it comes to vet offices and I highly recommend it.

Been bringing my dog here for two years now and it's always been a lovely experience. The front desk staff are angels and do a wonderful job at getting all of the patients seen in a timely manner. The vets are technically sound and do a wonderful job every time we visit. I would recommend this animal hospital to anybody.

IDr. Broder has been my vet for a very long time, even before he moved to his new location. I have always trusted his diagnosis and guidance in treating my pets (various cat and dogs over the years). I still remember how he came in the middle of the night to treat a neighbor's dog who was dying. I don't know too many vets who would go out of their way to do that. Not only is Dr. Broder an excellent vet he was also a great employer. I had the privilege to work for him a few year back and it was the best experience I have ever had. I got to witness firsthand how caring and professional Dr. Broder is. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but the negative reviews that I read on this site do not match the character and professionalism of Dr. Broder. Plymouth Animal Hospital is an excellent place to bring your beloved pet. The staff are friendly, the hospital is clean, and Dr. Broder is the best vet I have ever met.

I have total confidence in Dr. Broder's skill, and know my cat is in good hands. What really sets him apart from other vets, however, is his calm, reassuring manner and the personal, friendly service. I've been to other offices where the care was adequate but the human touch was missing. You never feel like just another client with Dr. Broder.

Not sure where the negative reviewer is coming from, but my experiences (and others I know who go there) with Dr. Broder have always been positive. I always get a thorough explanation of what is going on with my cats, the prices are reasonable, and the informal, personal atmosphere of the office is very reassuring when I'm stressed about one of my babies.

We love Plymouth animal hospital. Dr. Broder has taken care of our dog a 9yr old lab for her whole life. Before we had our dog, he took care of our cat. He has always gotten us in quickly if there is a problem. He answers our questions patiently and thoroughly. He treats the animals kindly and gently. It is very apparent that Dr. Broder loves what he does. Our dog who is afraid of lots of things actually likes going to the vet. The staff are also great! We would never think of going anywhere else.

As a long time member and now president of Spay and Save, we are in debt to Plymouth Animal Hospital and the services Dr. Andrew Broder has rendered to our organization. He has spayed/neutered literally thousands of cats, kittens, and dogs for our organization in the fifteen years he has been practicing. In those years, he has had a wonderful safety record. I would fully recommend his spaying and neutering services. In addition, Dr. Broder is one of the few vets in the area who participate on our program for both dogs and ferals.

The staff has always been pleasant, cooperative, and very willing to accommodate the large number of referrals we have given to Plymouth Animal Hospital. Dr. Broder is always open to suggestions and very willing to research any question or problem we have, and as anyone knows who runs a rescue, there are many.

Keeping his overhead low has allowed him to offer low cost neutering to help out those who might not have the financial resources to take care of their pets. He works with other organizations like Friends of Animals, Animal Education League and SNAP, as well as Spay and Save.

Thank you, Dr. Broder and staff, for your many years of dedicated service. We look forward to working with you for many more years.

I've been going to Dr. Broder at Plymouth Animal Hospital for a VERY long time, back when he was in the old location. I've even recommended him to friends and neighbors, and everyone loves it there. The general consensus seems to be high quality care and reasonable prices in a nice, friendly atmosphere. This is no "factory" where you see a different vet every time you go. Dr. Broder is the only vet, and he has 2 staff members, so you get to develop a relationship with them. I have lots of pets with lots of different needs, and I've always had top-notch care. Vaccines, many surgeries, ear infections, fleas, heartworm, you name it. I love the personal service and the informal atmosphere. Dr. Broder has a great way of explaining things without "losing you" in medical jargon. I told him he would make a great teacher. He's also got a great sense of humor, which helps when the situation with one of my pets is stressful. He even came to my house to put one of my beloved dogs to sleep, and I am so grateful to him for that. I know Dr. Broder had 2 little kids at the time, yet he came over at night to do this for me. I really cannot say enough good things about him and his hospital. The bad reviews on here must be taken with a grain of salt. Complications from surgery and bad reactions to anesthesia unfortunately happen, at every vet hospital. Pets can develop infections after surgery, and sometimes it's the pets themselves that cause this by pulling out their stitches. So I suggest you go over to the hospital and form your own opinion. You will like it, trust me.

I have taken all of my pets to Dr Broder for well over a decade. I have never had a bad experience, high price for service, bad (or snotty) service; and have never known Dr Broder to be callus or 'non-caring' about my pets or their well-being. In addition, I have found him to be very explanatory of what his diagnosis is. Ya know, you have to ask questions! If you've had a bad experience because of an ill/dying pet, I feel for you; but don't dis the staff. You don't dis a medical doctor when he tells you you're sick, do you? Much better than average Doctor and Staff.

Plymouth Animal Hospital is great! I've been going there for a few years now. They have fair prices, the place is clean, nice staff, and it's easy to just head over without an appointment. Every summer my boxer scratches himself raw, and Dr. Broder takes care of it and has him back to normal quickly. It's a very laid back and informal place, which is how I like it. I've sent a few friends there and they love the place too! Ignor the bogus reviews written by some hater with an axe to grind. If you try this place, I'm sure you'll have a wonderful experience. Keep up the great work!

Based on Dena M's review, it seems that Dena M is a person who doesn't recognize when someone has done a nice deed for her and helped her out. I work at Plymouth Animal Hospital and am one of those ??snotty girls? that Dena M refers to, and would like to give the correct facts on Dena M??s visit. Dena M visited our facility using an FOA certificate which is primarily a program used for low income people to be able to spay or neuter their pet at a low cost. Out of the money used to purchase the certificate, only a portion of it goes directly to the hospital. This portion is usually enough to cover only the cost of the procedure, allowing us to break even and continue the program. It is not subsidized in any other way. Dr. Broder is one of the very few area veterinarians that still participate in the program. When dogs get to about a 35 pound weight, it drives the cost of the surgery up, due to more anesthesia, supplies, and time to complete the procedure. The Friends of Animals organization understands this, and allows an additional non excessive fee on large dogs over 49 pounds to allow the hospital to cover those costs. Dena M claims that she didn??t know this, yet it was clearly stated to her in 3 different places. The FOA website states this 49 pound limit before purchasing the certificate, the certificate Dena M presented to the hospital has it written on it, and the hospital anesthesia release that she signed also clearly states it. Dena M telling our staff that she didn??t read any of those documents is not a valid excuse. Dena??s other excuse that her dog was only slightly over the weight limit, and the rules should not apply to her are also invalid. Dogs either are or are not over the weight restriction, and we apply the rules equally to everyone, otherwise it would be unfair. Dena M paid an additional $50, which added in with the certificate cost, comes out to $140 total - a very low cost for a quality spay on a large Golden Retriever mix, We priced the same spay at her regular vet, which came out to $250. Almost everyone using the FOA program thanks Dr. Broder and the staff for our help, but Dena M just acted in a rude and ungrateful manner. According to her records, the other $25 of Dena M??s bill was for extras such as an e-collar which she requested, and pain medicine which she claims she didn??t receive. Finally, the rumor about doing surgery on unanesthesized animals is totally ridiculous. First, I would never work at a place that did something like that, and second it is impossible to do surgery on an animal unless it is perfectly still. You can??t even do a teeth cleaning on an animal that is not fully anesthetized, much less major surgery. That particular rumor was started by a former employee who had to leave due to personal problems interfering at work. The employee worked at the hospital for many years (not 1 week), and out of his/her own personal issues and anger is trying to spread unfounded vicious rumors to hurt Dr. Broder??s reputation and business. The sad part is Dr. Broder even tried to get this employee help in dealing with those issues, before eventually having to remove that employee. I hope this clears up Dena M??s false accusations. We wish her and her dog e best, and in the future we hope she will come to realize when someone is doing something for her.

My puppy Snickers, was just there. Everyone from the 1st phone call I made, was so nice & helpful. I'm thinking about taking her there all the time now. Would highly recommend this Vet. As a matter of fact I already have. The girls in the office were very helpful, even when I called to see how the puppy was doing.

DO NOT take your pet here. I had been taking my dog to Dr Broder for a year and thought it was a decent place. Just recently however my dog became very ill and I needed to see an emergency vet. When I told this dr the combo of drugs that my dog had been on FOR MONTHS he was in disbelief. IT COULD HAVE BEEN DEADLY!!
I came home and googled the 2 drugs and everything I found said that they should not be taken together. Granted, I should have done my own research, but if the information was this common, how could he not know?? Or did he not care?
I will never walk into that place again!

I took my dog here with the Friends of Animals certificate to get neutered. Everything went well until i took him home and noticed that the area was very swollen and red and looked very irritated. I tried to contact them and i couldn't get a hold of them and left a message and they never returned my phone call. I took him to my own vet and he had a massive post op infection. i paid a lot of money. i call the vet and told them he had an infection and they did not believe me and said that he couldn't get an infection because they gave him penicillin. that's a lie!!! i would never take any of my pets there ever!!!

If you love your pet DO NOT take them to Plymouth Animal Hospital. This vet does not care about animals, especially not yours. Please trust me and find another vet or you may be risking your pet's life.

This place was great for my baby, I was very nervous when he had surgery. But after talking to the staff, I felt much better. They have a very friendly atmosphere. I recommend this place for any pet that you consider as family!

Dr. Broder and His staff are very caring and knowledgeable. The office is very clean and the hours are convenient. Every time I have brought my dogs there we have had a positive experience and his rates are very affordable.
