      This is the worst experience that I have ever had at a dealership, the salesman Ray told me that I was approved and to go ahead and come in to pick up the car! I told him to make sure that this was a sure thing because I didn't have a car and that it would cost me $60 to take a cab over there, he said that it was okay to come in. When I got to the dealership it got worse, Ray told me that he couldn't get me approved and that he was sorry. I said just reimburse me for the cab and I'll be on my way but Ray and the manager Danny told me that they weren't going to give me my money back and that I was out of luck! I called the police but they said it was a civil matter when it really should be criminal for what they did! These people think that it's okay to play with peoples lives and money!!! I have reported them to the Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau for Fraudulent Business Practices! Stay clear from these Liars and Crooks!!!!!

      Fredy kia is the best! I got my car from there 1 month ago. Mike Houston was our salesman and he is awesome. He was straightforward about the price of the car from the start and the service was quick and efficient. They gave me the best price too! It was my first car and I was anxious, they even helped me setup my insurance. Overall, it was a great experience! Highly recommend. :)

      Fredy kia is the best! I got my car from there 1 month ago. Mike Houston was our salesman and he is awesome. He was straightforward about the price of the car from the start and the service was quick and efficient. They gave me the best price too!       I pretty much NEVER write reviews, but felt like I needed to warn consumers. This place is filled with liars from the sales people all the way down to finance and the operations manager. Do not believe anything they say. When you need something good luck getting them to call you back.       This place in unbelievable!! Everything the other bad reviews state below are 100% true, this is definitely a dealership to avoid at all costs. Fredy Kia approached us from an estimate of vehicle value I did on the Kelly Blue Book website. Somebody called us and made an appt that they had no trace of when we arrived. We only went in to get information for a leasing deal that we have to end and what our options were. We left there on Saturday having been told that ""we were not leaving without them selling us a car"" trading in the leased car with paperwork to buy a new car on the following Monday. It turned out after a VIN Number search of the vehicle from the buyers order that the car was not theirs to sell and did not even appear to be the vehicle they were going to sell us. They offered us an APR of 4.99% that went down to 3.99% over 4 years when we queried it. I returned to collect my car as the deal was awful and non existant and I had to fight to get my key back! Luckily enough I had a spare and we had located where they had parked our exchanged car . In the end I just took the car and would have waited for ever to get the spare so left without it. I am disgusted at the attitude of the Salesman and the 2nd member who was running the numbers. A Very Bad Deal and terrible Customer Service. We ended up buying from Westside Kia who had the vehicle Fredy Kia were trying to sell us and in fact instead of being offered just one car with the spec we wanted we also got the color we wanted and the full spec with a $2,500 rebate and 1.9% APR. Go to anybody but this one you have been warned! I wish I had seen this before going in there.

      First off be skeptical about everything they say and do. They do not tell the truth about anything. For instance with such a small inventory compared to other dealers in the area they have more reviews (all 5 stars) in 1 month (Jan 2012) than bigger dealers have in years. With my experience, i am 100% sure these are false reviews done by Freddy Kia employees.

      Second you cannot get a car there for less than MSRP. As a matter of fact you cannot get a car for less than $1,000 OVER MSRP. They add 3K of addon like ID Theft Protection and Etching your VIN number into your glass. They claim their cost on the etching is $400. I googled it on my android phone while I was there. That price was a lie by 10x to 20x their cost. The other thing in their 3k add on package is that they waxed the car and scotch guarded the fabric. Another is that they used Nitrogen in the tires. Yes nitrogen is slightly better than the air we breath which is only about 78% nitrogen, but not $500 better.

      My list goes on. I had been shopping around. I knew I qualified for Kia Motors Financing at two other places. Freddy Kia tried to tell me that I did not, but they found another financing I qualified for. Which is 2% higher and does not include the $1,500 rebate Kia Financing was offering. Their internet sales shows rebates on their cars with no details and they will not explain them to you until you get there. When you get there you find out these rebates are the sum of all possible rebates you can get, even though some conflict. So they show a total of 6,250 rebates on the car on the internet. I get there and I only qualify for $2,000 and they try to lie to me and say that I don't qualify for $1,500 of that, as i mentioned above.

      I knew the cost of the upgrades I wanted. They are available on the Kia webpage. They tried to quote me prices on the upgrades about 25% than MSRP, which already higher than their cost.

      The next scam they try to pull is that they will give you a quote and print it out. They want you to initial it before they will process your credit. This also includes an estimate of your trade in, that they will drop down on later. Well when you initial that you want to start the process, they try to use this against you when you decide you have had enough of the other scams and try to leave. They double team you by having one person ""run the numbers"" while you sit there with the other one who is still trying to sell you the 3k in scam add-ons. They double team you again and tell you that you already signed to buy this car. Even though you only initialed to get quotes and run credit.

      Even at the end when I got fed up and told them I was tired of scams and let it slip that I had a price from another dealer already. They up and beat that price by cutting out the bogus prices that they had added and tried to convince me were real. By then I was at the point that even if they sold me a car for $2,000 less than another dealer I would not buy it. There is no way I would think their repair or warranty work department would be any less of a scam.

      I have read about the cliched car buying experience and thought it was a little over the top on what you could expect. Well these guys even one upped the cliche. I personally do not think these guys will be in business for the length of the warranty on the cars they sell. Considering the Sorento has a 10y 100k warranty, I see no chance Freddy Kia will be around that long.

They were professional and friendly from the moment I walked into their dealership to the moment I walked out with the keys to my brand new 2012 Kia Soul. By no means did I have an easy credit situation for them to figure out and yet they managed to work with my score and budget to get me into the car that I wanted. They exceeded my expectations because they did not treat me like crap just because I have a low credit score that I am working to rebuild. That is more than I can say about other dealerships around here that just laughed at my situation. I am very happy with my new car and my experience and would highly recommend them to my friends, family, or anybody else in the market to buy a new car.       This past saturday, our sales rep stayed late last night with my husband and I and gave me so many choices,even with my credit history. Every other car dealership kept asking for either more money down or a cosigner. We left with a car and a great feeling of being well taken care. And he works with a great team!!! Yes they are highly recomended! We had a wonderful experience and car buying is not always so pleasant. Like my husband said, the best thing was that he treats you like a friend, not just a random customer. He is dedicated, straight forward, and sticks to his guns. He definitely knows what he is doing and tries to make the customer comfortable all the time.

      New Brakes turned into a New Car My husband and I stopped by Fredy Kia after checking at a few other places for brakes. They greeted us and was very friendly while getting the car checked in. The technician showed us exactly what we were looking at in repairs, and the quote was surprisingly less than our first quote. While waiting for the car to be finished, my husband and I toured the lobby where we were greeted by the manager. He paired us up with a salesperson, who let us test drive a car we liked upon arrival. After some conversation about our current situation, we were looking at buying a new car. The whole process went very smoothly. It took a little longer than I'd expect, but it was a Saturday. They were able to get us financed at a great interest rate and didn't haggle us over a down payment or add-ons. They were able to get the price to a number we are comfortable with. After a few hours, we had new keys in hand!! Meanwhile, our other car had the brakes repaired, and we had an inspection .... Again, points of interest were pointed out to us so we could physically see what he recommended we fix later on. The bill for the brakes was even cheaper than what was originally quoted. Everybody was very friendly and treated us like family instead of just another sale. I don't think I could have possibly gotten a better team from a dealership.

      Went there yesterday and my hubby bought me a New Kia Sorento. Knowing that our credit is not great and having one other car loan open, they were still able to get us approved!!! At first I was looking to get another type of suv, but when the salesperson showed me the Sorento, I was in shock. compared to the old Sorento, this car was very nice looking. 4 cyl suv will definately be better for me in the long run. Heck it beats paying over $100 for gas. It has 3 rows, but I only will use it occasionally. it's just nice to have incase I have my nieces with me!! I am very happy now with the decision we made.       Went there yesterday and my hubby bought me a New Kia Sorento. Knowing that our credit is not great and having one other car loan open, they were still able to get us approved!!! At first I was looking to get another type of suv, but when the salesperson showed me the Sorento, I was in shock. compared to the old Sorento, this car was very nice looking. 4 cyl suv will definately be better for me in the long run. Heck it beats paying over $100 for gas. It has 3 rows, but I only will use it occasionally. it's just nice to have incase I have my nieces with me!! I am very happy now with the decision we made.       I just purchased a 2011 Optima at Fredy. I was very impressed with their salesperson (Miranda). They were true to every word they said and stayed late to get the job done. I couldn't be happier. It's a fantastic car that I think will change the face of Kia in the future. I'm still grinning ear to ear.

      It was part of a great dealership that was bought by the present owner and turned into tote note dealership. My wife had a deal from another dealership in hand. We should have known better to stop in but it was closer to home. The slick finance tricked us into a 500.00 loss and unnecessary credit dings to have us end up on their costly KIA finance. I managed to acquire financing at a reasonable 4.5% with ease after the ordeal. There answer was that I should have had my credit arranged before buying.\r
      Service is smiling and full of excuses on why it takes days for simple warranty work. They do not network with other dealers. Warranty parts are ordered from KIA and that is why the extra days. BUT bring it in there for something that will make the dealership money and it will be out in a jiffy. My last outcry is when I lost 3 days of work because of a bad battery under warranty. I am in sales and I travel to my accounts. I was told they are one of the largest parts dealers in the city and they sell to all of Houston and no dealership had a battery for my car. Frustrated at the end of the 3rd day, I called 3 dealerships. I was told by one of the dealership that all KIA dealers are able to look into the local networks to see available parts at any other dealership. All had a battery (27 batteries in all) that could have been picked up and used as warranty. It was just cheaper to have a warranty battery delivered from KIA and that cost me money and time. This was just the last of 4 instances with this dealership. In the 8 months of ownership, there has been around 6 to 7 unnecessary days this dealership has had this auto waiting for warranty parts. The last time I came in, I was given a dirty van to use because I raised such a stink. I did not use it because I would have to transfer all my files from car to car and it smells bad.\r
      To end this and I admit I was furious. I demanded to see the owner. I tried to explain my frustration about the credit dings and his answer was also that I should have had credit arranged. About losing 500.00 on the deal he said nothing said and when I told him about the reviews he had from other customers, all he said was he was insulted and asked us to leave. I never got to the service issue and sent a complaint to KIA.
