I am not much of a salsa fan, but I can't stop eating the salsa at Vera Cruz! Also, they have the best Fish Taco's I've had in Dallas.
4I've eaten at Vera Cruz more than 25 times. On my last approx. 6 visits I've ordered the Snapper from there menu. Each time I've questioned the food that I received? My last two visits I asked the waiter what the fish was and he told on

Cons: staff not so accomodating - poor management.
Very friendly staff and unique decor. I can't get enough of their fish taco's and their salsa is simply amazing!

It's called Veracruz Cafe. Food is interesting, combining Mesoamerican, Mayan, Huasteco & Aztec Cuisine. Fresh ingredients. I think they are the best fish tacos around.
5I first tried Veracruz Cafe after reading their 5 star review in "Gourmet" magazine. The intimate space was rich, romantic and warm but not pretentious. The clientele is a mixture of Kessler/Stevens area locals, residents from all over

Pros: Authentic homemade food with attentive service at a great price.
Cons: You may have to wait but it's worth it and the neighborhood is a great place to walk around.
This is my new favorite place. I've already been 3 times in one month. The Adobo Pork is succulent and the blue corn chicken enchiladas are some of the best around. And yes the salsa is wonderful! The service is very attentive and
