I arrived early and was immediately greeted and showed to an examination room. They took great care of Zoe and were very sweet and attentive to her. They also were very good at explaining everything to me and took the time to answer all of my questions.

My puppy and I did have to wait a little but to see the vet, but it was also a Saturday morning, very busy! Once we saw the vet she was in and out, very quick! Although I could've used a little more time to talk to her about puppy issues, and any questions I had. But again, they were very busy, and had some sick dogs on hand. Overall, very good service, I will probably continue to visit Ohio Drive for further doggy needs. Thanks!

They took excellent care of my dog when he was sick with a tummy ache. My dog has never been sick like this before. They were able to get us in that same day, and give him a thorough exam and offer a range of treatments for him. He was feeling better in no time at all. I also like how they call and check on the pet the next day.

I can say soo many good things about him I just don't know where to start. I adopted Katie from GDRNT and he is the vet they use for the Great Danes that come into the rescue. I chose to keep Katie going to him, because she already knew him and he and the staff had become somewhat attached to her. They know her name when she comes in, they are very good about following up with you after your appointment, you don't have to wait forever for test results to come in. They suprised me at how fast my results came in, and were very informed. What really impresses me is that their are NO suprise charges. For every procedure/visit you get a print out of the estimated cost of everything you can do. When you pay, the print out is so detailed that you know exactly what you are paying for. I can't say that for the vet i used before him. He is open and honest with you, and is genuine with his advise. I got a post card in the mail that was so cute, it is still on my refrigerator because it wasn't adressed to me, it was addressed to KATIE my DOG! It said "Katie, please let your mom know that your shots will be due on 7.7.07 and you would like to make an apt to come in for your check up." I giggled when I saw it was addressed to her! Little details like that will keep me a customer for life! Thanks Dr. B!!!

These people are so friendly. I love how they were so helpful from the first time I called on the phone to my first visit. They were very helpful and thank you for that. My cat Charlie really appreciates you so much.

As a new puppy owner i loved the care and professionalism with everyone who attended Iggy! The receptionist is stellar she is so polite and sweet very nurturing to our pet and any pet owner who walks in the office.

WE love Dr. Benjamin and his staff. We called because we thought something was seriously wrong with our 9 year old Lab and they didn't hesitate to say "bring him right in". Everyone on his staff is compassionate and caring and Dr. Benjamin always calls himself with any update. As far as our lab, Dr. B. didn't find anything significant and we are still waiting on some of the lab work up to come back, so it's probably age related, but the fact is... it felt like it was an emergeny to me so it was an emergency to them and they took care of my pet with the utmost care.

I have brought my pets to Ohio Drive Animal Hospital for the past 9 years, and could never trust anyone to take such great care of my (now 7) pets! Dr. Benjamin is kind and compassionate, and has saved one of my pups from distemper, one from parvo, and helped me through a multitude of pet emergencies. Additionally, his staff genuinely cares about the pets they see, and I can tell that because my pets love coming there and are excited to see friendly faces at each visit. I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Benjamin or his staff.

Dr. Benjamin was rough with my dog and had a harsh way about him. My dog, who normally did well with our old vet, was fearful and shaky with Dr. Benjamin. The rest of the staff was amazing and we love Doug the vet tech as well as the ladies at the front desk. There are too many choices to accept such bad behavior and roughness with our 11 year old lab. I won't be returning and would not recommend.

i really enjoyed my visit to ohio drive! the staff was extremely friendly as well as the doctor. i trust the doctor 100% with all of his decisions for my pets. the employees seem happy to be there and were helpful with all my questions which helped in my visit and made me feel confident.

I do not yet have a rating, as I have not yet visited - but will be bringing my pup tomorrow (Petland contract terms). So for those of you who posted positive comments, THANK YOU! Makes me feel better.

I knew the approximate age of my dog but could not remember the actual birth date, and when I called a receptionist named Flora haughtily blurted out a date and told me ""you figure it out."" I had a different vet for years and only went here because I moved cities. I consider my pup part of my family so at first I overlooked the expensive costs when other places were much fairer in price. I've definitely had better experiences elsewhere.

Dr. Benjamin and his staff were fabulous! I took in a new puppy yesterday and she got a comprehensive evaluation. Everything was fine...but they were patient with all my questions, loved on my new baby, and spent quite a bit of time with us! Ohio Drive Animal Hospital will be our life-long companion along with the puppy!

We have been working with Dr B and his staff for nearly three years. I know dealing with rescue groups, Dr B gets some unusual cases. The first time I met Dr B was when he was treating our 9 puppies with Parvo. In the past three years, he has saved many lives for our group. Many lives. From a dog who removed 80% of her bowel, massive injuries from being hit by a car, neuro issues to currently, our latest and most proud foster that has a new leg, rebuilt by Dr B and associates. Dr Benjamin gets our hardest cases. Period. Because 1) he is the best and 2) he has never treated our dogs as second class because they are in rescue. They are clients

I have three dogs and three cats, and they all love Dr. B- and I do, too! He is kind hearted and compassionate about his work, and he genuinely cares for my animals, not my checkbook. He and his staff are very well trained and educated in all aspects of pet health, and they are always happy to help explain everything to me. Not only do they provide exceptional medical care, but they give great baths, and my pets never leave with bleeding toes when they get their nails trimmed. It always smells great, and there is rarely a wait when you come in for an appointment! Also, he does TONS of work with rescue organizations such as Great Dane Rescue of North Texas. Dr. B and his staff have been caring for my pets for over five years, and I don't have any cons to list for this practice.

Dr. Benjamin has taken care of my pets for over 5 years. He's been there for all the ups and downs of my pets' lives.

There was the time that my shepherd mix, Midge, ate so much dry dog food that she couldn't walk or lay down, so Dr. B stayed late on his birthday and made her better!

Or the time that Rugby, my family's australian cattle dog, got sick. He wouldn't eat, and he had diarrhea. He had low energy and was just listless. My parents took him to another vet first, but I wasn't comfortable with that vet's approach of medicating and "waiting and seeing". I felt like Rugby wasn't going to make it if we just waited, and he still had a lot of life left in him.

I took Rugby to Dr. B for a second opinion, who found out that Rugby had Irritable Bowel Disease. His blood levels were so off that he could have died without the proper care and change of diet. Dr. B figured out what Rugby needed - medication and a diet of Fish/Potato. I am relieved that Rugby is now happy and healthy! I don't think he would be here if not for Dr. B's diligence and expertise.

I should add that I also worked with Dr. Benjamin as a veterinary nurse for over 5 years. I have worked alongside several vets, but I always preferred working with Dr. B because he is very knowledgeable and organized. He is consistent when treating animals and does not lose his patience easily. He and his staff use positive reinforcement to make sure your pet feels special and has a pleasant visit. Dr. Benjamin is picky about who he hires. His staff have a love for all animals, and they are intuitive and sensitive to the owner's feelings. Their computer system (Avimark) is modern and efficient, so they can devote more time to providing our pets with care. They are good at following up, and I always feel like they genuinely care about my pets.

I discovered Dr. B by a welcome letter I received indicating the opening of his new practice and out of curiosity checked it out. I was instantly impressed by the immaculate facility and the friendly and competent staff. Dr. B presented in a friendly and professional manner and was so wonderful with my dogs. I appreciated the fact that there are no "surprises"; you know up front what the charges are going to be and Dr. B and the staff are willing to explain why particular tests are necessary. Dr. B is a fantastic diagnostician (I have truly put him to the test, as I bring 4 dogs and 3 cats to him) and what I respect the most is that he is not afraid to say "I don't know" and refer the pet to a specialist, rather than continue to run tests that could become very costly to the client. Dr. B is not only wonderful with dogs and cats, but with their owners and families too. He welcomes every puppy and kitty and counsels the owners from the very beginning with the joys of new pet ownership and throughout the pets life; ensuring it is quality enriched, and when that time comes that it is no longer, Dr. B is there to help the family through this difficult process. Ohio Drive Animal Hospital is a full service facility offering routine care, surgeries, baths and boarding with a kind and wonderful staff. I wouldn't take my fur babies any where else!

Dr. Benjamin is a great veterinarian, very friendly and knowledgeable. My animals love coming to see him, which is why he has been treating my pets since 1998, and I have followed him from Carrollton, to Coppell, and to his final location in Plano.

This was my best experience ever at a veterinarian. The doctor and employees were all so friendly and really seemed to know what they were talking about. My dog is usually nervous at vet visits, but really seemed to enjoy himself. One thing that really suprised me is that it seemed so clean inside, and I didn't notice any of the usual animal odors that other vet offices have.

This vet did a procedure to my pet that did not need to be done and he did not ask my permission to do this. It was a surgical procedure. I was furious. He knew he made a grave error as I was not charged. Fortunately it was not a serious grave error.
