Just sayin' - having a protestor / picketer in front of your store on Westheimer the past couple of weekends might not be good for business. Fact is, I never even heard of your business until I saw the guy out front with a picket sign, so

Our visits have been nothing but the best! My husband came in to have my engagement ring made and they were nothing but helpful. He said they had my ring made and back to him in 3 days. I came back to have it re sized and was nothing but

All my visits have been to the Westheimer store. My first visit, I thought I was going in to browse at engagements rings in a case, but then I find out they will help you design the perfect ring. Lisa was extremely helpful in explaining

My mom's Bday was yesterday so last week I was looking to find a nice bracelet and necklace that was at a good price. I drove by the Woodlands store and decided to stop in while waiting out the traffic. Loree was so nice in helping me

Had a custom pendant made of my son's high school logo, Klein's jewelry was great. All I had to provide was the logo, they did the rest. Pendant turned out better than I image, was beautiful. Only to a couple weeks & the price was

I had a very good experience with Klein's. They have always been friendly and helpful and seem like they really want to make you happy. I love my engagement ring but I wanted to change the setting so I could wear a wedding band that would

My experience echo's all the other reviews here. Altough it is a small place every time I went in, the sales people acted like they had never seen me before. They could never locate the certificates for the horrile diamonds they were giving us and over charging us for. Always wanted way more money to upgrae the diamond, although the diamond they would put in the ring was not the one we had chosen. I agree that tey pretty much ruined the whole ring and engagement experience for me.

If you are in the market for fine jewelry- don't go here. My fiancee purchased my engagement ring in October 2008. The day after he proposed I noticed a diamond had fallen out of my ring. We didn't think it was a big deal at the time so we called Mark Klein and he said to bring it in. We were offered no apology but they put the diamond back in. To make a long story short, the same diamond has fallen out 4 different times and each time no apology is offered and I am blamed for "banging my ring around". This is funny because the ring is in the box when I shower, do house work, sleep etc. All of my friends wear their rings 24/7 with no issues but the diamonds keep falling out of mine. The ring also had no "14K" stamp on it and the store said they simply "forgot". Once the diamond fell out the 3rd time we took it to other jewelry stores in Houston to get a second opinion and were basically told that the ring was poorly made. My fiancee asked for his money back and was told no but they could recast the ring in platinum for an additional $300. Nice. At this point, the ring is a sore subject for us. You would think that when you get engaged your ring would be great and actually hold up through the engagement. I've been engaged for 6 months and the diamonds have fallen out 4 different times. How is this ring supposed to last the rest of my life?

I had the same experience. I had a ring made, and was told a cast would be made. When I didn't hear from them for nearly a week, I called and was told," this is really hard, I can't make a cast, I have to just make it from scratch". Okay, a little scary, and they hadn't bother to call me about it. The ring turned out okay, but not exactly like the photo I gave them. About a year later I took the ring back to have some stones taken out because the prongs were scratching my fingers and catching on things. I wasn't able to talk to the person actually doing the work, but was assured it wouldn't affect the setting. Again, when I went to pick it up when promised, they decided it didn't look right (scary again!) and it would take another couple of days to "polish it". Again, no communication on their part, they never bothered to call me to let me know before I made the trip over there. It also bothers me that the place is decorated like a sports bar. I think I'll find another jeweler.

The service from the salesman was fine and he tried, but he does not make the jewelry. I had an engagement ring made. At first, a cast was to be done so it could be approved. I came in to look at the cast and was told they had already begun to make the ring without my approval. Fortunately, the ring design was okay. However, it took much longer than advertised to get it complete. Once obtained and after having the chance to review it under a loop, the ring was poorly made. It had pave stones with three center stones. The pave stones were set in an uneven channel and one of the stones was offset from the others. Two of the pave stones fell out within 3 weeks. One was found and re-inserted and to Klein's credit, they did replace the other one (that being the one that was initially offset from the others. The pave stones, upon close inspection, were of poor quality. I had anticipated better quality in both the pave stones and the band itself. They did help me find two side stones that were of good quality that matched the center stone I purchased for less online of very nice quality. They were also to make two small girls rings as well that were to be "engagement" rings for the girls. The rings came back with a very small bead set and not on a prong in a silver band. The silver was fine, but who would think a bead set is an "engagement ring?" Generally, their prices were okay and compared to other jewelers in town, they were less expensive. But, do you get what you pay for? I had them quote me a wedding band in the same style and they quoted about $950. Another jeweler quoted me half the price to do it with better stones and quality. I think it will be as the new jeweler is aware I will be looking. Ultimately, I had two jewelers look at the engagement ring and both wondered about the poor quality of manufacturing. Maybe they wanted some business. Of course, all the above is just "in my opinion."

Pros: Salesman and desire to please

Cons: manufacturing, corners cut
