I have been taking my truck to the Sirianni's for years. I even moved to Austin and won't take my vehicles to anyone else, because sometimes it can be hard to find a mechanic you can trust. No doubt they are honest and straight forward.

I have had positive experiences with Sirianni Automotive.

Sirianni Automotive does the regular maintenance on 3 of our cars. They also take care of any repairs as well. They have always been direct and effective in their service and in solving problems. They haven't created any issues that were not already there. I am totally comfortable recommending them.

I have been using them approaching 5 years. They have a real strong technical edge. They are competent, and I have lots of confidence with them, even with brand new cars. They provide whatever is needed.

Girlfriends car has a leak in the AC High Pressure Line. Tried to patch, seal & nothing is working so I need to get it replaced. More time & experience than I currently possess to replace it myself. Start driving around to find a good local repair shop close to work and stop in. I start speaking to a gentleman, telling him what I have done, what I have tried & how nothing seems to work other than a total replacement. We both get a pretty good feel for one another, he reaches over to grab his book to give me an estimate of how much it will cost & I tell him "Thanks, I'm just trying to get an idea of how much it will cost. I've been driving around talking to people in the area, doing a little shopping so that I can find the right place." The owner stops dead in his tracks, "Oh. You're shopping right now?!?" "Yes sir.", I reply with a smile. "Oh! Then you can just keep shopping!" he responded as he pointed to the door. I thought he was joking or trying to tell me that he charges a little more per hr for labor. It took me a second, but I realized he was completely serious. This man, after I hadn't said anything rude to him, was pretty much kicking me out of his shop! I asked him why & his response was, "We don't do that kind of thing here! I'm not gonna give you an estimate so that you can go somewhere else. My customers trust me and have been bringing me their vehicles for years! Where have you been?!? he snaps at me. "I've been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, since I have been in the KY/TN area with the 101st Airborne Divisionfor the last 6yrs! I just got back to town 3 weeks ago and am trying to get a feel for the local businesses out there. How am I supposed to know who is out there to trust if I can't ask a simple question to help my decision?!?" "OH!" was his only response with a smirk. "So, you just don't want to help me now, is that it?" "Well, I don't want to ruin our friendship, so I will let me son help you out. My name is Louis, I own this shop!" he tells me as he walks away towards the garage. A nice young lady came to the desk, and was somewhat apologetic. "Sorry, we just get alot of people here trying to haggle price and make us(local shops) compete against one another." she explained. "I understand. I'm not trying to get the cheapest place. I just wanted someone to be straight with me, so that I can know whether or not to trust them with my business. I wasn't rude, so there was absolutely no reason to be rude with me. You seem to be very nice & I apologize to you for being placed in this situation. I think I will just spare us all the trouble and find someone else. Thanks." I didn't deploy to hostile countries twice, watch friends die, get shot at and woken up everynight by mortars, and sacrifice my marriage to come home after so long and be treated like some cheap low life. I took my business up the street to Orient Auto, paid almost 400.00 for the labor, freon and genuine Nissan parts and was thoroughly happy with the service. It was never about money, and trying to find the cheapest place. You get what you pay for when you do that! I just wanted someone to be honest with me, so I can find someone to do the work that I may not be able to. I used to be a mechanic, but I didn't have the tools for AC work, and wanted to locate a local business to bring some profit to while helping me. From what I have heard now, by word of mouth, this isn't the first time this has happened. I spent 20mins of my lunch break just arguing with this man as to why he was shooing me away. For all I know, the mechanics are great, but I never even got that far. If you decide to go in, tell Louis(the owner) that you are just shopping around to find someone in the area......see how you're treated then and how respect for the customer goes flying out the window!! I guess you're just supposed to stand there and say yes sir to whatever a total stranger tells you!! "That's where I went wrong...."

It seems like I have been a patron of Sirianni Automotive for nearly 30 years. I don??t know how I discovered them, but I refer people to them all the time. Frequently, someone will feel they must share their automotive mechanic disaster story and I am able to say that I know somewhere they can trust and get the job done right.

I??m compelled to write this review because I was extra pleased recently when my 16 year old son bought his first car and it had problems. It had a really bad shake in it when it got going around 50 or 60 miles an hour that we quickly named ??the earthquake?? it was bad. It was a starter vehicle for him and he was ??on the cheap?. He had asked around and had various friends and ??mechanics? offer their opinions that ranged from just park it and forget about it to that??s because of a wreck and it??s bent to where you will never find it or fix it. Even the previous owner had been very candid and said he had driven it like that and had no idea what it was.

In short, I suggested he take it to Sirianni Automotive and let our trusted family mechanic look it over. The people there were so helpful and took the time to give the car a complete once over and test drive. They were kind and respectful to my son. They tracked down the problem and gave him the diagnosis. Turns out the connections on each end of the drive shaft were worn out and they were replaceable. We set an appointment to bring it back and get the parts installed and abracadabra? no more earthquake. It??s like a whole other car and he has a new pride and joy in his first car and Dad feels much better with him driving a safe and solid vehicle.

Thanks to the owners, staff and ??culture of caring? at Sirianni Automotive.
