My son is now 5 years old and has been attending Mi Casa since he was 6 months old. All of the teachers know all of the children, and when he is there I know he is being taken care of and they love him like he is part of their family. Ms Sandra and Ms Debbie have been there since we started and I can honestly say I know that they love my entire family. Mr Greg, the director is awesome as well, he even talks to my 17 year old son about his goals and future. I know everyday I drop my son off he is in good hands. No complaints at all!

MI CASA is a wonderful daycare!! Our boys have been going there for about a year now. Our 4 yr old has learned so much in their pre-k class they have with Mrs. Sandra!!!(she is GREAT!) our 2 yr old has also been doing really well he is fully potty trained and now knows more x-mas songs than me lol.We live 30 minutes away from this center and its soooo worth the drive! If you want to feel at ease while you are at work/school than this is the place to be. :) Our kids bring artwork home everyday and are always doing something new when we pick them up.We love Mi Casa !!!

The last review is so untrue. Some people expect not to follow the policies. They expect their own rules and expected to have everyone running around for them. If your child is ill, then they need to be at home, and not expect a one to one with their child. MiCasa is under new management and they are great. We would not go anywhere else. We are so happy to have our boys here. And happy those people are not....

I would have to agree with Mi Casa on Brandesis is amazing they are friendly and care about each child, they get to know the parents on a personal level and make you feel like you are dropping your child off with a family member. My son was with Ms Monique also known as Ms Moe as the children call her He was excited to go and make art projects or go swimming with her, we would walk in and right away she would acknowledge us. She does alot of art projects with children, By the end of the summer i had so much art work i didn't know what to do with it. You could tell she put alot of time and effort into it. My son left for school and really misses Mi Casa and Ms Monique. I guarentee you will not regret taking you children there. its the best place to have your child

I have had my son in Mi Casa for several years. He loves it there. He loves his teacher Ms. Monique. Yes, she is the youngest one there to my knowledge but is very much involved with the children. She informs the parents how the day went, along with any things that might have happened that were not so great, i feel that this important information to know. She knows every child and there parents. She seems happy to be at work everyday! My son loves her and i can tell every other child does too. Mi Casa on Brandeis is the best. Especially if your child is in the care of Ms. Monique. The whole center is clean and friendly. You will not regreat taking your child here

I don't know about the other two Mi Casas, but the one on Timber Path is great. My daughter has been attending for about 3 years and she loves it, especially in the summer because they have a pool where they learn to swim. They may not be fancy and new, but they are clean and affordable, the staff is caring and has very little turnaround. The only thing I can say is that they need to take a little more initiative in communicating with parents about what your child is doing there from day to day. My husband calls every day though and most parents should do at least that! Also, they need speed bumps because there are way too many jerk drivers speeding around the corner where the daycare sits. I also wish that they would open a center closer to Alamo Ranch because we will be moving soon.

02/2010, I had read the reviews and to be honest I was afraid to give this place a chance. However, I decided to visit the facility myself. To my surprise, it was very nice and the smell was great. I was waiting for the smell of urine but that didn't happed. I met Sandra and I told her I wanted to see the daycare. I was impressed with the organization of how the classes are run. The menu and the lesson plan are both posted to be seen. They have little cubbies and hooks high enough for their coats. I did ask Sandra about the negative reviews and she said they were under a new director, Sheryl and things have changed for the better. The front office and classrooms were painted but it is a older building which can't be helped. Regardless, my son seems happy when I drop him off and when I pick him up. He loves the playground. The only suggestion I have is to get a new slide for the toddlers. They all want to play with the "big kid" slide. Well at least mind does.

This place is a joke. My nephew is enrolled at this so called day care. Everytime I'm in the parking lot I see the staff that are suppose to be watching the kids on their cell phone. Also the so called director is crazy, she's never there and never has a hold on things. Everytime I go in there is this crack head looking man who I guess is suppose to be watching the kids, thats always trying to flirt with me and my sister. This place is no good, with the exception of the girls working in the front and a few of the older ladies.Don't send your kids here

My friend told me she found this complaint about Mi Casa and I was so upset. My daughter currently goes to Mi Casa Brandeis and has since she was 8 months old. I love the fact that Mi Casa's staff treats my family like family. When I drop her off and pick her up I can tell they really know and love my daughter. They treat her like a person not just a student. The director and other staff have even helped me when I did not know how to apply for financial help for daycare services. Sometimes it may seem a little crazy but thats because they are caring for like 70 children. When my daughter first started a few years ago it was a little crazy there but now the place is kept really clean and they do cool projects everyday. My daughter is way more prepared for real school than most other kids her age. My daughter wakes up and is excited to go to daycare and that is what is most important to me.

The earlier review may have been valid at the time, but Micasa is under new management. She has really done a lot to turn the daycare into a place any parent would love and trust. The playground is currently being updated constantly and there are many plans for the future. The teachers and employees are all very caring and professional. You can ask any current parent and they will tell you that they truly trust and love this daycare. Come by and see the facilities and staff and talk with the new director.

Pros: New director and upgraded facility

Cons: All the teachers Care about their students and you're child

The director is crazy!!! she doesn't know what she's doing and neither does everyone working under her. For the most part she is never there so the other staff is clueless on what to do. No one is in charge. I can never get a straight up answer for any of my questions. My son is in the pre-k class and the wanna be teenager of a teacher is always running around with her head cut off.

I understand that currently there is a completely new staff at this location. I routinely am pleased with the courteous and quick response from the staff and teachers. I noticed a big change in how the facility looks and SMELLS. I'd say they got a clean sweep. Things seem to be running so smoothly. My child receives monthly newsletters, attends special events and outings and loves his teacher. I cannot think of any wrong thing to say. The director always aims to please. There are NO teenagers working here and all of the staff is qualified. I have seen the old Mi Casa and this is CERTAINLY NOT IT. Things have changed and for the better!!!

I took my child there and I really liked it. The staff was great and very helpful. My child always had a daily report when I picked them up and the teacher would also tell how their day went.

I took my child to this Mi Casa last year, near Clark high school and I can tell you, you will regret every single day your child is there. My son was constantly sick, they never sent him home if he was coughing or sneezing. When I confronted his teacher about this, she told me that he must've caught the flu from someone at home. My daughter used to work at this Mi Casa as well, and the director is insane!! She literally takes doctors notes and copies them, so she can give them to her daughter. Many people have gotten fired from Mi Casa because of mishandling the children, by picking them up by one arm or making jokes about giving the baby shaken baby syndrome. Most of the people who work at THIS Mi casa are UNEDUCATED and straight out of high school. A lot of teens work here, that don't have previous experience with children OR who have their own children. And honestly, if you ever do go and visit this place, you more then likely will walk in - take a deep breath in and leave. It STINKS!

Again, DON'T bring your child here. You will seriously regret it.
