Our existing fireplace was measured by the Leonard's salesman for a pellet stove insert early in December. We were assured of an expert installation that would result in a cusom fit. When the installers arrived the week before Christmas with what was apparently the standard shroud, they installed the stove, leaving a 5" overhang on both sides of the existing stone and a 5" gap at the top. They did not install the thermostat, which would have required running a wire under the pier and beam house. We called the salesman, who admitted to "dropping the ball" on the custom shroud, and we were informed that it would be "after the first of the year" before the correct shroud would be installed. My call on December 28 was answered with a recorded message that the business would be closed from December 24 through January 1. We understand that the custom shroud will be constructed locally; we do not understand why this wasn't accomplished before Christmas, and why we should have to wait until "sometime" after the first of the year for them to correct their mistake.

Great fireplaces but horrible install and service, their receipts say no refunds all sales final. They also charge you up front before install for the whole price. Wont give me a full refund for assessories i bought that they recommended, that wont work with my fireplace. They overcharge excessively for the add ons over what you can get them for anywhere on the internet. Wont buy from again and wont recommend.

They have some awesome fireplaces. They do customer orderS and even have the decorative man made stones to either accent you fireplace or place outside!
