Outstanding business model! They believe it's better to put money into repairing used vehicles rather than discounting price. I just bought a used Ford F-150 from them and couldn't be happier (even though the mileage was high). The truck is in cherry condition and Cransh Auto saves all the boxes the parts came in for their repair of that specific vehicle so you can see what has been done. Miguel Espinoza was our sales agent and he is a fountain of information on each vehicle they sell and what has been done for repairs. He stayed with us through the identification and acquisition process correcting any problems we found. I highly recommend him for your sales advisor (214-623-7771). Try them...you'll like them!!

Have had a terrible experience with Cransh. I purchased a Toyota Tacoma from them a little less than a year ago. The transaction and test drive went very well without a hitch. It wasn't until I tried to get a couple of miscellaneous parts (promised and signed for) from them for the Tacoma that I realized how big of crooks they are. I eventually got them to send one part to me after about 9 months of calling them and asking for it. The other item I was promised have yet to show up!!! I have since sold the Tacoma (minus the parts they owed me) and given up on trying to get them. I am currently in the market for another vehicle and noticed that they had one I was interested in. I called about the vehicle and inquired about the price only to be told that the price was "firm" and that it was that price because of all the money they spent on maintenance. I pointed out that the vehicle was listed at more than $1,500 more than both KBB and NADA blue books. I was quickly told to have a nice day and they hung up. Do not deal with these CROOKS if you can help it. Not recommended whatsoever.

My husband and I were looking for a used vehicle that could serve as a replacement for my dying commuter. We wanted something that had longevity, decent gas mileage, and I wanted a large backseat for passengers. We found a used 2004 Toyota Camry with 63K miles at Cransh. After test driving and inspecting the vehicle, my husband and I decided we liked it. The car was a little over our price range, but after working with Jimmy, we were satisfied with the price that included T&T.

After 4 months, and with one road trip from Dallas to New Mexico, I'm happy to report that the car has had no issues. There was an oxygen sensor that went out, but I've had those go bad on other vehicles as well. We even took the car to some Goodyear mechanics that we trust, and they said the car was in good condition. They told us a lot of maintenance had recently been done on the car--you know, the stuff that Cransh does to all their cars (spark plugs, brakes, belts, filters, etc).

All-in-all, I'm pleased with my purchase from Cransh. Other cars on their lot that we looked at weren't as nice as the one we got--and we wouldn't have purchased them--but they do get some good cars in there. It seems to me that with used cars, it can be a hit or miss kind of thing.

I've bought two cars from Cransh Auto in Arlington, TX. I would recommend them highly!! They go through the cars and they do a lot of work on the cars before they even put them on their lot to sell. The cars are CarFax certified. What other Used Car lot does work on cars before they sell them?! NONE that I know of... NONE, except Cransh Auto!! Go SEE RICKY MOODY, he'll take great care of you!!

A VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER!!

My son bought a car from Cransh last summer. Immediately after we got it home, the transmission started acting up. I called Cransh/Ryan, who said they'd send someone to look at it. Nope, never happened, even after I repeatedly called them. I had to put a $2k transmission in a car worth only $5k. We've since found many other problems with the car, including shoddy paint coverup that was hard to detect. Never again....go elsewhere to buy.

Let me start off I never write reviews but I feel this one needs to be written.
I purchased a 2006 Honda Odyssey minivan about 3 weeks ago. We had been looking for several weeks and I finally made the dreaded "Division Street" shopping. I found several on their lot and was priced fairly.
It was a pleasure working with Ryan as he was very non-pressure.
The one we selected had a "quirk" that they took care of immediately. After driving home and on a short trip the Check Engine Light came on. My thought was here we go.... How can I resolve this as it was an "as is" sale.
No hassle at all from them like I was expecting. They ended up making several expensive repairs on them. Nick was VERY understanding and I feel really tried to make it right!
I have to say I have dealt with Factory Dealerships with much more hassle than this business.
Will I purchase another vehicle from them? Most likely will be the first place I go!

I just completed a purchase with Cransh auto Sales on a car for my GF. no pressure sales and we paid a little over blue book "excellent" for a "good" condition but i feel it was a good purchase. We noticed several little things wrong and they got worked on, including a fresh inspection.

The only complaint I have is I was told the car would be ready Monday at 12:00 PM and it was 3:30 PM when it was actually ready. This could have been disastrous on our scheduling. Overall I would recommend Cransh but just like any used car lot buying a used car; AS-IS.

We were in need of replacing two vehicles and had unsuccessfully been looking several months hoping to find vehicles form private sellers. In our online search we saw a vehicle that looked interesting but was at a dealership, but decided to look at the photos posted online. After looking at the photos we decided to drive the approximately 45 minutes one way to look at the vehicle. We were pleasantly surprised that the photos actually showed like the vehicle. Ryan helped us and after looking at several vehicles, asking lots of questions, hearing and being shown what work had been done on them, we decided on two and purchased them.

We actually found vehicles with near private party prices and in dealership condition.

We were happy with our purchases and a day or two later, heard a noise when braking on one vehicle, called Cransh and took it back. The owner replaced the brakes at no charge to us and in no time we were on our way!!!!!

Cransh has no high pressure sales or pushy sales people. Just a good value on a quality used cars and a dealership that honors their word!!!!

We will reccomend Cransh to others and will definately use them again ourselves.

Ask for Ryan he was wonderful to work with.

I bought a Montero Limited from Cransh and could not be happier. I had been to several dealerships and either got NO help anywhere and felt like I was interrupting THEIR day, or couldn't get the salesguy off my back. When I got to Cransh, the salesman, Ryan was immedately there to offer any help and then encouraged me to take my time looking around and just wave if i needed anything. Which was nice beacause i had no idea what kind of car i wanted, just something in my price range, so I wanted to browse a bit. He was so patient and very nice the whole time. The entire staff was. I never would've thought I could own such a NICE car! I absolutely love it. I would 100% reccomend Cransh, and have. I'll drive my Montero until the wheels fall off, and then buy my next car from them too. :)

I am giving Cransh Auto Sales a low review not because of the car purchased (a 2005 Honda Civic), nor from the price.

The issue stems from their service contract promotion. At time of purchase, we were told that we would receive a "$1000 gas card" if we bought a service contract spanning at least 1 year. We purchased a 2-year contract for $1500, and were told that we would be sent the card in approximately 1 week.

We received the materials from the Extended Service plan, but, no gas card. I called the dealership, and was told they were out of the cards, but one would be sent in the mail. Two weeks later, no card, and I was told "we'll get it in the mail right away." Two weeks later, still no card, but I was told they had them available. I then drove to the dealer to pick one up.

"The card" turns out to be a REBATE program that requires selection of a merchant, collection of all shopping receipts for that merchant for each month, and a $15.95 fee per year. It is not a prepaid gas card as we were led to expect, and does not carry a $1000 value.

Too Long;Didn't Read version - don't waste your money on the extended service contract. You can do better buying a service plan from the manufacturer, or from your mechanic.

My only dealing with this used car place ended in a total nightmare. Ryan, the salesman, was great. Very friendly, informative, accommodating. We agreed to a price and the value of my trade in. After sitting in the finance office working with Maria and my bank on the preapproved loan, Ricky rushes in to tell me that there was something mechanically wrong with my trade in and that they would have to knock off $700 on the trade. The papers were signed and all of the documents were provided by the bank. THE LOAN WAS COMPLETE AND IN MY NAME when they decided to renig on the deal. What a bunch of buffoons! Maria looked dumbfounded when I told her that the bank needed a note saying they wouldn't be drafting for the funds. HELLO?!?! And, to top it all off, I had to ask for my title back. HELLO?!?! Shady dealings!

We saw an internet advertisement for a 1998 Lexus GS 400 listed for $7,999. Since I was coming from Kansas, I called and spoke with Rickey to review details concerning the vehicle, price, mechanical condition, etc. I advised Rickey I would send my son who lives in Dallas to check out the vehicle and put down $300 to hold the vehicle until I could get there from Kansas. My son took off work, went to test drive and inspect the vehicle. Upon return to the dealership, miraculously, the price increased to $8,999 and they would not honor the original asking price. Even with a copy of the ad in hand, and having talked with Rickey throughout the day, Cransh would not honor the price. Their response was "We made a mistake on the internet." Needless to say, the price was listed on the web for over three days and Rickey said he had several people inquiring aobut the vehicle. We will not be doing any kind of business with Cransh Auto Sales. Such a scam!

I have read all he reviews and comments and most are positive which is very rare for someone buying an older used car. I personally have bought 2 cars from the brothers Cransh and both of them were excellent cars except for a few cosmetic issues on them. I had both check out by a mechanic and they got a clean bill mechanically. I do not understand why people will not spend a few extra dollars and have an independent mechanic check out a several thousand dollar investment before they buy it. They at least try to give you a good car for the money you will be spending. Most used car places will just clean a car cosmetically. They actually try to give you reliable transportation. I will purchase vehicles from these guys every time I am looking for a car in the lower price range. For cars in the 7K range and under I would not buy a car anywhere else.

I bought two fully loaded cars from Cransh Auto last March 2009. 1999 Honda Accord and a 2000 Honda Civic. The Accord's inspection sticker was up that month, and they were supposed to put a new one on for the year, but did not. As it turns out I have some sort of electrical wiring problem (changed the bulbs) for my rear brake lights. I've yet to get it fixed. I'm not really bent out of shape (b/c I haven't paid/been out any money for repair yet). I bought the Civic for my son's highschool graduation gift (he left in June for the military /stationed in Japan, so I drive both cars). We took our time, test drove and were very impressed w/ Cransh Auto and the salesmen. Honda makes the best mechanically sound, long running cars. My son test drove a souped up civic, but he could tell the previous owner had hotdogged it and it burned oil. We both love our cars. Loved the new timing belt, battery, and tires. I do need to get the radio code for my car as I accidently ran the battery down. I have recommended several people to check out Cransh Auto and consider buying a good, used car from a reputable dealership. Earlier, I bought a truck for my other son from a guy I went to highschool with 20 years ago. That guy intentionally lied about so many things. Still taking that truck to the repair shop. Cransh was definitely worth my 3 hour drive. I am very satisfied with my good running, no oil leaking cars. Part luck, part good shopping, part good salesmen. I bought two great cars for $10,000. Can't beat that! I will go back, just next time will make certain they put on the new inspection sticker. By the way, I stayed w/ cousin for the two days I took to pick out cars and transact deal (my own financing). I talked to every person who came to get their cars fixed. All expressed satisfaction and trust that Cransh would fix/resolve any issues with their car. Thanks Carfax, AutoTrader, Cransh Auto, and cousin Karen.:)

I'm an aircraft mechanic. With a family, I make enough to buy in the $4000-$5000 range, so I buy only used cars. Cransh (both locations) starts with inspection, then bringing a car up to good condition with a view to mechanically restoring it to very good condition. I've bought about 5 cars from them, all had little things because they are used cars. I think Cransh has wisely prioritized what they are and are not going to fix; a glove box latch, a bezel missing from the A/C switch, an antenna...these things are not the best choices to put their mechanics time into...one or two nit picky items on each car. Deal with those yourself. What they do is replace the items that ensure longevity and durability; timing belt, worn mechanical steering parts such as CV joints and worn rubber bushings, tires, etc, . Then they clean the car interior to make it enjoyable. All with a view to having a good driver for a few years at least. We Americans want too much. If you want a perfect car, buy a new car. It will be perfect for a very short time. If you want a car that has had a very good examination, expensive maintenance performed and will give you another couple to 5 years of driving, then buy from Cransh. Used cars are a wild card, and no dealer can prevent the inevitable expensive mechanical failure. Machines break. Don't expect them not to. But do buy the best maintained or mechanically restored machine you can. Value for dollar, Cransh get my vote. When you visit the lot, go slow, be thorough, as questions, drive as many as you want; they are patient and honest. They give straight answers. Pick the car, dicker (they will usually come down a couple hundred), and if the car had nit picky items, tell them you want it fixed. They will fix it or they will send the part in the mail with the license and registration.

I bought a 1999 Acura 3.2 TL (140,000mi.) in Feb. 2010, for $5999 (about blue book price). They said that they had rebuilt the transmission prior to putting it up for sale, also said they changed the timing belt (using cheap, Spanish speaking labor - but I know its hard to get good, cheap labor as an employer). I was impressed... these are 2 major jobs that many shops would not do prior to selling a vehicle, while keeping a reasonable price. Yes, I had to do minor things to it after buying it, but that's expected from a used car lot. (cabin filters, hood lifts, tint, etc.) So far, so good,
even though they somewhat overstated that they did "everything" prior to selling it. I would recommend this shop to others. (Why did skeptical Clint even write a review, when he never bought a car there, and why did Brenda C. give them only 4 stars because she lives in Oklahoma ???)

In June of '08 I bought a '96 Nissan Altima from them with under 50k miles on it...a one owner..saw the Carfax. I have had it since then and put 30k additional on it, including a road trip this summer, Dallas to Columbia SC, to Detroit MI, to Columbus OH, to St. Louis Mo, back to Dallas. Got 30mpg on the hwy. Only preventive maint I have done is replacing 2 belts, and changes of the oil.

I paid good money for the car...about $5000 out the door, but it was the car I wanted and it had very low miles.

Unfortunately, on Monday an 80 year old man rear ended me, and I'm expecting that the insurance company will total it because of the age/value. I hate to lose that car !!!!

I'm going to check with these guys again for another car. Buying used meand that YOU have to know what to lookout for. Yes some flaws can be hidden, but that is true of private sales as well. "Let the buyer beware"!

looking at these reviews it makes me wonder if most of their cars have minor flaws such as the oil leaks; however, if you have basic knowledge of a vehicle, you can do the work yourself & save yourself the labor expenses. I've fixed oil leaks on my cars before, it's not that difficult if you follow an instruction manual (HAYNES Auto Manual, etc.). I'm looking at a truck online right now & it seems like a very nice truck for a reasonable price, with a (not good, not bad) moderate amount of miles. I'm planning on a test drive soon, or at least to go look at the vehicle. But! It does say stuff online that many of the other people who have written reviews said their car had, but didn't when they got there, such as Angry C., who said her car (on the internet) was posted to have all new tires, etc, but it only had two once she saw it in person. I'm hoping my car buying experience from Cransh Auto Sales will be good, I'm hoping this Ricky & Nick are what they're made up to be, Honest, Hard working men who pride in their work, and are willing to do a good job if & when it comes to fixing something that goes wrong on the vehicle.

I decided to buy a used car as I have in the past, it just makes sense to save the money. So my husband and I purchased our infiniti fx from cransh auto sales in may and I must say I had been to sooooo many other dealers because it is a pretty pricey car and I wanted to make sure I saw everything out there....but the service I received at cransh auto sales was by far the most honest & professional. Their service is outstanding! The car is in perfect condition, it feels like I bought the car from the dealership, it runs so smoothly and I have no problems whatsoever. The price was the best price I received ANYWHERE... I shopped on ebay, autotrader, and many other dealers. No one could beat the price they gave me, and the owner Nick was always available for any questions and reasonable when we were negotiating the price. I would definetly recommend cransh auto sales, believe me I shopped forever for my dream car and Cransh auto sales delivered!

I did not want to buy a used car, but my husband convinced me that we will be doing ourselves and our pocket book a huge favor. I as well located Cransh Auto Sales on Autotrader. I went over to look at a 2002 Acura 3.2 TL. Biggest concern we had was to drive from Oklahoma to Texas and find a not so perfect car.

I was truely amazed by the service my husband and I received, the salesman Ricky was so helpful in providing us with details about all the repair work that was done to the car and sending us additional pictures prior to us even driving down to Texas.

After our long road trip we arrived and test drove the car, unfortunately Ricky was not in the office but we met the owner Nick who was such an honest and pleasant person to work with. Our decision was immediate the car was perfect and exactly what we were looking for; a reliable, good looking & well priced car. Who can ask for more!

I as well signed a No Warranty form when I purchased my car but that is expected when purchasing a used vehicle. However, I did purchase an extended 1 year warranty since I did buy a used car and I know Cransh Auto Sales did not own the car for the life of it!

I have had this car for about 2 years now with absolutely no problems other than the basic maintenance my husband does himself. I never even had to use my warranty I purchased . I'm in the market for buying a car for my son who will graduate high school this year. I have already been in contact with Ricky again.

While reading the below reviews I'm actually confused how the other reviewers bought more than 2 cars from such a bad dealership??? if they truely felt they had such horrible experiences. Im thinking someone was expecting the impossible from a great company!!! Or maybe should have spend a few extra hundred dollars and bought a warranty as they recommended to me!!!

I highly recommend Cransh Auto Sales to anyone in the market for buying a used car, I received nothing but excellent service from a great small company!

Im marking 4 stars only because of my drive from Oklahoma !! I hate driving far!!!

I want to be fair. I have never bought a used car that was perfect. Not from a used or new dealership. I always expect several hundred dollars of repairs. I bought a loaded 1997 Acura Intrga. It is basically solid. But I replaced the stock wheels and mats. The radio was bad so I bought a better after market at Car Toys. It over heated several weeks after buying it. As I thought it was the thermostat. But the hoses and clamps were original and the radiator had a crack at the upper hose neck. So I replaced them all. I am SAE certified and owned my own Exxon. Now an aircraft mechanic. So I got good work at a good price. The only thing else was I had to buy a new battery. The one in it was five years old and developed a dead cell. Now I have a solid car that looks almost new and is loaded. I don't have a new cars five or six hundred a month for a car this loaded. I am basically satisfied. I will go back and I will be careful. But I would do that anywhere. I have had much worse experiences with new car dealerships. Their work is always over priced and usually shoddy. But I take my cars to an independent shop I trust or do it myself if I have time. That's the best way to get work done. The bottom line is no one should expect a perfect used car or willing share of repair costs. If I am a long term customer, that's different. But not the first or second time I buy from a lot. I prefer this to having a five year bite of five to six hundred a month. By the time thats paid for the new car is needing repair...I paid cash. So I don't have anything to say about payment policies. The only thing I can really complain about is they lost my tags in the mail. Maybe or maybe someone just got a free set at my expense. But replacement was less than ten dollars. Still the next time I go back I will tell them I will pick the tags up. The third time I buy from them I will expect them to be a lot more open about cars condition and about being willing to stand behind it. Repeat business is repeat business and then you have the right to expect a premium level of service. The mechanics there are not as good as I am or the people I trade with regularly. Why would I get work done at the lot? Leann when you pay for work anywhere they are responsible for it being done right. You should have gone back and insisted it be done over free. I am pretty sure they used form a gasket on the oil pan seal and stripped the oil plug. It shouldn't have cost over a thousand to clean the gunk off the block and install an oversize plug. You got ripped off twice. No warranty means exactly that. The only way you can expect a used lot to even partly stand behind a repair is if you stay cool and reasonable and are a repeat customer...

We have bought a total of 3 vehicles from this place. A truck and 2 cars. All three were crap. The truck ran okay for about one month and just like the other cars it leaked oil, but that wasn't the only thing. I took it to Firestone and had them perform an analysis. By the time they were through, they found problems ranging from the power steering to wheel bearings to the rack and pinion. And the list goes on and on. Total cost to repair Firestone: $3031.74, Meador Dodge: $3166.24. The other Toyota we purchased only had 2 new tires instead of four and leaked oil. We traded that one in for a new car before it could give us anymore problems. The third car was purchased for our son and taken back. Enough was enough. We too were brushed off and asked to call back and schedule a time to have the vehicles repaired. The schedule seemed to get longer and longer with each call. Dealing with that liar Ricky. He is such a fake. Bottom line, once you pay your money and drive off in the car, don't call these liars back. your car will never get repaired correctly. If you purchase something from them take it to the dealership that services that brand of car. They are only in it for the money. LIARS! MONEY HUNGRY, JUNK SELLING, OIL LEAKING LIARS! They don't even deserve one star, but I had to give them at least one to post this review.

I purchased a 99 Honda Prelude for my son from Cransh Auto Sales. I wish I could give a review like Ruby did but my experince did not turn out so smooth which makes me sad. Initially we were extrememly impressed with this place especially with all the preventitive maintenance they do but once we purchased the car, things fell apart. We had an oil leak which I told Ricky before we purchased the car and he made me fill silly for even suggesting it. "Why would we do all this preventitive work and not fix an oil leak?" Turned out it was an oil leak and they fixed it for free. Well, after blowing me off for a week. Also turned out they did a shabby job and less than one week after the oil leak was fixed the car started POURING oil onto the cement. We ended up taking it to our mechanic and it cost us $1043.13. Seems as though they installed the wrong seals, had stripped screws etc. The radio was messed up and they said if I provided the raidio they would install it for free. After the oil incident they didn't have a guy to install it so they said they would give me the installation kit and the wiring harness. The kit they gave me was already opend and missing parts. Oh and no wiring was to be found. :( I had to wonder is this because I'm a woman? WTF? It is a shame, I don't think these folks are out to screw you, they do a lot of good things prior to selling a car, but I do wonder about the abilitiy of their mechanics.

Looking to purchase a used car is never an experience I look forward to. Ricky Moody made me feel completely comfortable and I like the no haggle approach. He is very knowledgeable and offers all information on the purchase including repair receipts. You wil be amazed at all the extra work he puts into the cars before they leave his lot! Including new tires! It seemed like there were Hondas in all price ranges! I was there to help my son purchase a off-to-college car and Ricky made sure that we were completely satisfied. He even gave us his cell phone number! I would definately recommend Cransh!
