We live in the South Shore area so this office is very convenient for us, however we will be moving to Seabrook but will still utilize this office for our two doggies! They are absolutely wonderful and always accommodating and friendly. They have seen my pets at the last minute for us several times with no complaints. They always make sure to keep us updated and send friendly reminders and notifications to help keep our dogs healthy. The best vet office we have ever been to!

We have been taking our Yorkshire Terrier to Marina Bay Hospital for the last 10 years, where she has received excellent care. My parents take their dog here, my stepdaughter and my brother took their dogs here when they lived in the area. Our pets have received the best, most up-to-date treatments from a consistently compassionate and caring group of veterinarians and staff members. I can recommend them without any hesitation. As for the people that live aboard a sailboat, veterinarians, as well as physicians for humans, have medical guidelines and requirements that they must follow for the best possible and ethical treatment of patients. Medicines can't be prescribed to a patient on an ongoing basis without a current examination and determination of the patient's current health condition. My husband and I have lived overseas and travelled to 3rd world countries. There are many differences and challenges in this kind of life. Plan to leave your 3rd world country on regular intervals to get decent care for yourselves and your pets.

I had recently adopted a puppy from a shelter that ultimately had parvo, kennel cough, and distemper...Dr. Wardall was very compassionate and understanding with us. I had never dealt with this and was very heartbroken that our brand new 3 mo old baby was sick! She kept us up to date with everything that was being done, and did not sugarcoat the situation leaving us with false hope. She was very honest, but still understanding. I would not have wanted our puppy in anyone elses hands during her last few days! She did a fabulous job caring for our puppy and making sure she was comfortable. Outstanding job!!!

Contrary to the review written by the person living in a jungle my experience with Marina Bay Animal Hospital has been outstanding. I have 2 dogs and a cat that are all seen by the vets in this office. When my oldest passed away Dr. Larry was kind, compassionate, patient, and most importantly helped us in preserving our pets dignity at such a difficult time. I refuse to take my animals anywhere else.

I love this place especially Dr. Matthews. She is the best vet I have seen in my over 25 years of owning pets. She is caring, down to earth, listens and is very easy to talk to. Everyone that works at this clinic are very nice, caring, friendly and it is a big change from my recent experiences with a general veterinary office. I cannot recommend it enough.

Our situation is unique in that we are sailboat cruisers currently living in Guatemala, Central America. I have two of their regular patients onboard. When we asked them to refill our Heartguard, they sold us six months worth and refused to sell us any more without the dogs coming back to the US for testing. That is not an option, we can't sail or fly back to the states for a test. We live in a jungle area where it's crucial that they be protected against heartworms. I was shocked that they didn't understand that in a jungle in a third world country, vet care is non-existent and they are our regular vet. We asked them for help because we've supported them exclusively while living in Kemah, Texas. We have never ever let our girls go without protection and their records prove that fact. Their ignorance in this matter is putting our girls in life-threatening jeopardy. Sorry, but this is just wrong! I am very disappointed.

Pros: It's a very nice facility. The front desk staff are helpful.

Cons: The vets are good at treating the pet, not good at making decisions about certain issues.
