I liked the free 30k service very much. Helped get some confidence in owning a VW. My consultant Aaron Allison, went above and beyond and fixed a couple of other issues like the glare on the windshield and the issue with the rear door not getting closed.

This is the type of dealership that has a superb sales department. They sell you a car and all the insurance a person could ever want. All the bells and whistles. Unfortunately when it comes to standing behind you and doing what s required of them...they are no where to be found. DO NOT BUY A CAR or anything else from Rusty Wallis - you WILL regret it especially if something goes wrong. Go up to Randall Reed in McKinney for your needs. They will treat you honestly and follow through on their promises after the sale.

I was extremely satisfied with my salesman and the dealership, so much so that a week later, my daughter and son-in-law went traded in a 2yr old Toyota Sienna and purchased a VW Routan and she was totally anti VW. But not only that, when they went to just go see what mini vans they had to offer, their entire family went which included an 8 month old and a 2 year old, and from what she told me the staff partook in childcare that day. This included some of the staff getting and proving lunch for their kids, allowing them to negotiate and finally purchase their mini van.

Be careful of rusty wallis finance dept they rush you thru signing process and lie to you.i was having trouble getting financed they got me financed but told me i had to purcase a $2000 extended warranty andgap insurance and an exterior coverage policy in order to get approval .if you read the fine print on those policys it says that you do not have to purchase these extra coverages to get financing but they told me i did or they would not complete deal . i needed vehicle so i signed anyway . ( truth in lending act) > now my car is in need of service and the part i need repaired is not covered on this extended warranty. go figure

Rusty Wallis VW management makes sure that the TV in the customer waiting area is always tuned to Fox News. I am not a conservative, and I deeply object to Fox News' deeply biased "reporting". I repeatedly requested that the TV be changed to another channel when I was there, and they grudgingly complied. However, they made sure I knew that they didn't like it, and it became clear the TV was tuned to Fox News for a reason. I finally confronted them about it, and management admitted that they wanted the TV tuned to Fox News because they were conservatives and they wanted to influence customers. I took my business elsewhere, and encourage others to do so as well.

We received the worst service at Rusty Wallis Volkswagen. When we purchased our 2006 Jetta, it already had 6000miles on it. It needed repairs, for example it had a broken air vent, a broken leather strap and a scratch on the back bumper. We left several messages for the Manager Scott for assistance on correcting these issues. We never heard back from him. When we were, several months later able to get our Jetta in for service it had 14,000 miles on it which we were told was over the warranty that Volkswagen allows on there vehicles. Well after my husband found the used car of his dreams and showed it to me online every day for 20 days, we finally went to Rusty Wallis to check it out. The car was beautiful, and they also had a nice selection of certified pre-owned vehicles. We were financed extremely quickly, only took them twice to come within our desired payment. Great service, a little far to drive but still a great place if you are in the area or they have the car you want.
