I can highly recommend Dr. Carbonell. I have a 7 year old chihuahua who stays perfectly healthy all thanks to the wonderful doctor. He treats my Maggie and his other patients as well like family and his main priority is their wellbeing. I am just thankful to have him around. It is rare nowadays to find a doctor like him who truly cares. The office staff are just as wonderful by the way!

I just decided to write here. I have been in 3 times recently with my new pup for the series of shots they need. Each and every time, I come away saying, ??And that??s why I go there.? Everyone is kind and open and friendly to both me and my pup. I get in immediately and we get started. I have received helpful tips and advise that were above and beyond from the doctor as well as the staff.
I genuinely appreciate the loving and professional environment you create.

Dr. Carbonell is an awesome veterinarian. He cares for the pets and explains things well and everyone who works there are friendly. If you need a vet clinic I would recommend East Plano Animal Hospital.

Thank you so much for your excellent care during my pet's recent surgery. She has recovered amazingly well and has not missed a beat. She and I really appreciate it but she hopes she doesn't see yall anytime soon. No offense, thank yall again!

I have only had positive experiences: From the time I call to either ask a question, or make an appointment, until after I check out.
I have also appreciated the follow up phone calls after Gracie had her ear surgery and even after her annual sets of shots. The entire staff is doing a great job as always. Many thanks especially to Joey who is always there to say hello upon arrival.

I have always had a good experience at EPAH Doc C. has been sensitive to my needs as well as Roscoe's needs. Special diets, and antibotic therapy has made all the difference with his allergies. Roscoe is a special dog and he is treated the way I feel he should be treated. Try East Plano Animal Hospital if your dog has special needs or your looking for a special vet that hears what your saying, and takes time to explaine how to fill your animals needs.

I really appreciate that the staff follows up with a personal phone
call to see how my dog is doing, whether he has had surgery or just
exhibited a quirky behavior.It makes me feel that Dr. Carbonell and his staff really care about my pet.

Dr. C has been there for us through hernia surgery, parvo, wellness exams and everything in between. He and his staff are professionals are outwardly exude a love for their clients. We couldn't ask for any better care than we currently receive at East Plano Animal Hospital. They are awesome!!

Exceptional service! I have never found a vet so kind and he cares for each of my 4 pets. My youngest pet, Delilah, was born with an eye condition that Dr.C has helped me get through and answered all of my questions thoroughly. My other pet has allergies and Dr.C's approach has kept Lefty comfortable during this allergy season. I even get the occassional phonecall to see how my pets are doing. Very thorough and caring!

Apparently Dr. Carbonell refuses complaint forms from the Better Business Bureau so that the BBB will not process the complaint. I must assume he has had a number of complaints in order to have learned this ??trick?. See the state veterinarian board for complaints since they DO keep the records!

Dr. Carbonell told me out of the blue he was refusing to treat my pet any longer and would not even sell me the food his associate Dr. Bridges prescribed. I could not afford a $600.00-$700.00 biopsy for the cat??s gums. He told me everything was fine per treatment after an exam 6 weeks earlier and that we would continue the same treatment plan! Also tried to charge $340.00 to remove a tooth that Plano Animal and Bird Clinic charged me $70.00 to handle. Price gouging galore here! Said he wasn't making enough money off of me to sell me food and meds any more. Please RUN as fast as you can from this character!

Dr. Carbonell and his staff are incredible. Through Dr. C's qualified and compassionate care, he has extended the quality of life in two of our previous dogs. Sassy, a Shepherd/Chow mix, suffered from bone and kidney problems. Dr. C prescribed several medicines which extended Sassy's life 2 1/2 years. Snickers, our border collie mix, had liver cancer. With the aid of a MRI, Dr. C was able to prescribe several meds for Snickers which gave him another 4 1/2 months of pain-free, happy life. On 2 separate occasions, Dr. C and his wonderful staff held my hand as I held my Sassy and Snickers as they took their last breath of life. Now Ozwald Jack, our 11-year-old dauschund, has an enlarged heart. He was lethargic. He now is taking 2 meds twice a day, and he is back to his normal (barking at the neighbor's dogs) self. Finally, the staff at EPAH is friendly and kind. They make you glad your dog came for a visit. We tell our dogs that they are going to "doggie camp."

I took my two dogs to East Plano Animal Hospital for grooming today and they did exactly what I asked for as well as confirmed with me twice that I was satisfied. I will definately be taking them back. Thanks, Rachael!

Dr. Carbonell also consulted with me on things he found when the dogs were checked in for grooming. That was impressive. I brought them in for a bath yet the doctor looked them over and pointed out current needs as well as future concerns of his. When I have taken them to a groomer in the past I didn't get a vet visit too! I really appreciated his valuable time.

The dogs are pleased too. They got treats, lots of love and tennis balls. What more could I ask for?

Dr. Carbonell is a great vet. He takes the time to really explain what is needed, how the medication can be administered and checks with your pet insurance to make sure things are covered so you know ahead of time. We had seen three vets for a problem without any sucess. Dr. Carbonell gave us a plan, medication, diet and behavioral support that stopped the illness in its tracks! I now had the dog I always wanted. Within 4 weeks my dog was well and we have a way to control the symptoms! Dr. Carbonell is simply a life saver!

For those of you who need to go out of town and need someone to watch your pets, the East Plano Animal Hospital has kennels available for rental and the people there are very friendly to the animals and will feed, water, and walk them if necessary. The vets there are also very competant and treat your animals with caring and love.

Dr. Dietz was the vet here but he recently moved to South Texas. Dr. Dietz was an amazing vet, he really cared about his patients, old or young, cute or ugly. He would take the time to return your phone calls, important or not. If you called him, he would get back to you regardless. Customer service was his first priority at his practice. We were sad that he left Plano. Dr. Carbonell took over the vet practice, I hope he's as good as Dr. Dietz. Time will tell.
