I will not go into detail as my previous review was taken down. Put it simply Dr. Kim did such a poor job with my tooth that a visit for a filling had turned into a root canal (I??m lucky that I did not loose my tooth). Few years later his root canal had to be redone by a root canal specialist because it became infected as it was not filled in properly the first time. It took 7 more visits to fix his 3 hour torturous root canal session. It ended up costing me over $2,000 (with insurance!) to fix his mistake even after he refunded me my $300. Unfortunately, personally I know this has happened to one other individual. By coincidence the same day I went to get my money back my neighbor was in terrible pain after she came back from visiting him and also had to go see a specialist. I will never be cheap and undereducated when it comes to choosing a dentist ever again. If you are looking for a wonderful dentist - my dentist of the last 4 years, Dr. Pamela Solhaug on Eastlake does a spectacular job. She will listen to you, work with you, and will not do unnecessary procedures.

Pros: NONE!

Cons: filthy clinic, helpless office staff, terrible dentist

Like another reviewer, I started going here because it was near my house. I really lucked out. I've had terrible dental problems during my life and have visited a lot of rude dentists. Dr. Kim and the entire staff are extremely nice and have done a wonderful job so far.

I've been going to BD for two years. The staff is friendliest group of peeps I've met in Seattle. They all talk and talk - then remember you six months later at your next visit. I almost look forward to going - how crazy is that? When I moved here I started out at a swanky dentist downtown. The doctor said I needed over $25,000 of work done right away; including pulling teeth - crowns - redoing filings, etc. I've always had great dentists and great teeth, so I was little freaked out. I walked into Broadway Dental for a second opinion. Dr. Kim said very few of the recommendations were necessary. My point: he is very conservative and won't do unneccessary work just to get your money. Like an idiot, I had major cosmetic work done overseas last year because it was so much cheaper than in the U.S.. It turned out to be a complete disaster. Dr. Kim worked with me for four months to undo and redo everything (you almost have to be an artist when you do cosmetic dentistry). I couldn't be happier with his work. I would venture to say that I have the best smile in Seattle.

Pros: Friendly staff. Easy to make last minute, emergency appointments. Less expensive.

Cons: None.

I highly recommend Dr. Kim at Broadway Dental because I hadn't gone to the dentist in years (I have no insurance) and when I chose Broadway Dental?only because it was near my house?they were so amazingly nice and friendly. They pulled my wisdom teeth, something I've been dreading for decades, and it was virtually pain free! I know that sounds crazy but it's true! I have extremely sensitive teeth and Dr. Kim always takes great care of me. I've been going there for about 3 or 4 years now and my smile looks great. I know it's weird to recommend a dentist but he's just the coolest guy, so funny and friendly, and all the assistants and hygentists are super sweet and friendly?I just love going here! Also, their rates are very reasonable for someone like me, who makes an OK living but I don't have dental insurance.

Pros: incredibly friendly staff, parking, reasonable rates

Cons: well, it IS the dentist after all!

Save yourself some money and go elsewhere, their fillings will fall out of your head in 2 years, just like mine did. Thanks for nothing, Dr. Sutter!

Pros: it was close to where i lived

Cons: 2 years later, i have to get all my dental work done over because Broadway Dental didn't do a good job and my fillings are crumbling.

.

These guys don't know how to put a filling in. Mine lasted 2 years and now they are falling out of my mouth.
