I went in recently and ordered a short latte. I noticed that I was charged for two shots. Not wanting that much caffeine, I ask if the short lattes come with two shots normally, and am told that they do not. Nothing else from the cashier at that moment, and I ask, "Is it the same price for two shots?" "No," is what I'm told, but there is no move on her part to offer me or give me a refund. While 60 cents may not be a lot of money, I can't understand not even the gesture to take care of having overcharged me. I don't kow how to read this - arrogance, casualness. While I like this spot, I am really thinking of not coming back.

Pros: Usually good coffee; good scones

.

I got a cappuccino and mocha chumley, and they're pretty good! the cappuccino definitely has more espresso flavor than what starbucks or other "mainstream" big corporate coffees offer. Parking and seating are limited, but if you're not planning on staying for long, just ordering to-go, I'd definitely recommend. I think I'll try their americano next time---- seems like pure shots in water bring out the true flavor of espresso.

Pros: cappuccino, iced tea fusions (w/coffee... e.g. chumley), friendly barista

Cons: parking, seating, no wi-fi, a little pricier than other places i've been to

.

I used to frequent this bit of cafe heaven every morning on my way to work. But sInce our business has its own barista and espresso bar now (sigh), I never get here anymore except maybe one weekend a month when I golf. Staff are polite, flirty and coffee smart. Their menu board will satisfy anyone's coffee tastes no matter how peculiar. The interior is what I would call Bellevue Square meets Capitol Hill. It's just a great place to call your own.

Diva's Espresso is a comfy, cozy shop perfect for grabbing a coffee and reading the stranger. Not diva-ish at all! The staff is extremely personable, and make great drinks! They know me by name, and remembered my order after only a few times of ordering. I recommend the Diva Chumley! It's Diva-licious!!

Diva Espresso is great! I have never meet an unfriendly barista--many of which remeber your name and you usual coffee beverage. The coffee is really good, I think the best in Seattle!

The servers rock and chances are they will remember you and what you like. The place is small, though, and if you enter from the wrong way you get dirty looks from the snotty customers. The seating is comfortable but can be hard to come by. Unfortunately, they have decent parking, so the morning commuters are encouraged to stop here. They are usually the impatient ones and are easy to spot. If you are a local, this place is hard to beat for a cup of coffee if your timimg is good and you can sit and watch Greenwood go by. Food is limited, but what they have is decent.

Diva's is the best addition to the Greenwood neighborhood in a long time! The location is perfect, they have parking, and their coffee is to die for! It's very unique and always brewed richly and very fine. For a while I was getting nothing but their chai tea because it was made better every time I ordered it. They have a nice, laid-back atmosphere, beautiful decor, quiet, great place to have a nice quiet conversation or read a book and relax with some good, warm coffee. In the summertime, they have a lot of nice iced drinks as well!

This is a great place to sit and chat with a friend or run in to grab a latte' on the go. The atmosphere is great and the staff is friendly. They make beautiful designs in the foam. The only negative is my personal preference that I like my flavored latte's sweeter, not so bitter.

There is a West Seattle branch that I stopped at last week. Not my usual place. Don't know that I'd hang out there (sorta weird setup) but I got out to my car, took a sip and said "oh my god this is soooooooooo good!". Best espresso I have had in a while. Rich, creamy, but not too thick or burnt (like Victrola's often is).

Yummy yummy yummy.

I'll leave it up to you to decide if you like it as a hangout.

There is also a Lake City one now too. Lake City Way around 80th or so.

Complaints about the coffee are surprising to me. I've always had a great experience. I usually have an americano so can't comment on syrups and such.

This place is not just your ordinary coffee shop. It is a meeting place for the nieghborhood. When ever I need to meet someone in Greenwood for a meeting or just to visit, Diva's is the place. It is a cozy, welcoming environment with great coffee and fresh and tasty pastries. When you have time to stop and enjoy your coffee, this is the place to go.

Diva is a delightful getaway in Seattle. Both locations (on Greenwood N, at 79th and again at 144th) provide a wonderfully homey and cozy atmosphere, whether you dash in for a quick drink or spend the afternoon there. Anything you order is bound to be delicious, made especially for you by great people.

Perhaps the previous posters never just order a plain ol'cup of coffee or simple capuccino... which they excel at! Plus, when you go on the busiest times of the day, they still get your order out hot, correct. Staff is friendly and almost always remember you and what you had last time... become a regular here, it's worth it.

Pros: good coffee, friendly staff, quick service

Cons: parking can be tight, need more seating

Diva is terribly overrated. Maybe it's the decor and the setting, but it really comes down to just coffee. When I order a white chocolate mocha, for instance, I expect white chocolate--the thick kind that comes in the can--not white chocolate flavored syrup. Unbelievable. They charge for icing a coffee. They charge for syrups you can't even taste. This kind of overcharging has gone the way of free internet. For $3.65, I'll go to Tully's or Sam's Espresso instead.

Pros: Location, Room to read a book

Cons: Overpriced, Weak Coffee, Nonstandard chocolate

I ordered a double tall iced latte and received a glass of milk over ice. Where was the coffee? Raised prices and less product are a bad mix in a recession. Nice place to bring a book, however, but I go there mainly for taste, which was lacking. Not recommended.

Pros: Nice Tables, Clean Restrooms, Long Hours

Cons: Weak Coffee, High Prices, Upity Attitudes

It's a small place, with a fast coffee line. I've seen as many as five barista's slinging coffee in the morning. The people are great, and it's nicer in the evening, when it slows down. During rush hour, get your coffee and get out!
