I can't even begin to explain how AMAZING the experience at Lexus of Bellevue was!

My wife and I had a 2003 Ford Explorer that was on its way out. So after I spent 3 days going from dealership to dealership, I stopped in at Lexus of Bellevue just as a long shot as I didn't think we would be able to afford anything there.

That's when we were greeted by our sales person DAVID HARA who was not only HELPFUL but was FRIENDLY in a genuine way, which was definitely a breath of fresh air after the other dealerships. DAVID helped us to actually find a Lexus that was in our price range! So once we found the car, it was time to sit down and go over the paperwork and everything. This was when it was time to start the negotiation, as there were a few things about the car that were of concern (i.e. door dings, missing panel from roof rack, ugly gold badging, and a few other things).

NICK WILCOX the Sales Manager was beyond AWESOME! I gave him basically a laundry list of the things I was concerned about on the new car and he said "no problem we'll take care of them" without hesitation. So what we expected to be a "negotiation", turned into a granted request. So within a week everything was fixed! Not only that, but he made sure to give us a loaner car while they were fixing everything.

Next, it was time to find out how much we would get on our trade-in for the Ford Explorer. Since we weren't expecting to find a car at Lexus, we didn't bring the Explorer with us. However we were honest on the condition and for that we were expecting to get an extremely low-offer. Not at all! In the first offer, without even seeing the car, NICK offered us double what we were expecting to get, so you can only imagine our excitement!

We were then off to the Finance department to figure out what kind of a loan we could get. Once again we were amazed by the level of service, as we thought this step in the process would be stressful and well honestly boring. We were so wrong!

DEBORA ANTONELLI was such a PLEASURE to work with! She was nice, funny and extremely efficient! She not only made sure we could afford a full bumper-to-bumper warranty with very minimal additional cost, she also worked with multiple credit unions until she got us the absolute lowest rate possible!

We got to the dealership at about 5pm and were all done and driving away in our new car by a little after 9pm! Which means they stayed after closing until we were all finished.

The next day was definitely the most stressful, because we had to drop-off the Ford Explorer that we traded in. Just as our luck had it, about a 1/2 mile away from the dealership the Explorer broke-down! I was freaking out as I now thought they wouldn't accept it or if they did we would end up owing them money. Wow were we wrong!

I called NICK from the side of the road and told him what had happened and his first reaction was sympathy! He felt badly that they didn't have a tow truck available at the moment to send to help us. Fortunately I have AAA so towing wasn't a problem. Then I asked the dreaded question "what happens now with the Explorer since it's not running?" and he said "don't even worry about it, just have it towed to the Lexus service department and we'll take care of it!" I can't even begin to describe how much of a RELIEF it was knowing that he were more concerned about me than the car! Not to mention, they took the car as-is and I didn't have to pay anything! Not only that, but DAVID came in on his day-off to meet with us to get the keys to the Explorer, and ended up waiting for us for over 2 hours and when we finally arrived with the tow truck he was extremely sympathetic.

A huge THANK YOU again to NICK WILCOX, DAVID HARA and DEBORA ANTONELLI for such a wonderful experience!

This definitely won't be the last car I buy from Lexus of Bellevue, and I will also tell everyone I know to go there for their next car!

Took my Lexus in for service to have the timing belt changed. Was told that I needed to change the water pump as well and it would cost me a huge amount of money. Took it to my normal mechanic who laughed at the the water pump claim and did the same work for a fraction of the price. A neighbor just told me an even worse story. Be Careful.

Han M. I apologize you felt we may have misguided you regarding the water pump. However, replacing the water pump during the timing belt replacement procedure saves our guests money on labor when compared to replacing both parts independently. In addition, we have found that water pumps typically have a service life of between 90k and 120k miles. To not replace the water pump when replacing the timing belt is really taking a gamble, we choose to not risk our guest??s vehicles dependability by skipping this step. If a water pump fails, it may cause the vehicle to overheat and possibly the timing belt to break and/or jump timing. Most Lexus vehicles are ??interference? type engines which means that if the cam timing is incorrect (broken timing belt), the valves will likely come into contact with the pistons. If this happens, catastrophic failure will occur at significant expense to the vehicle owner. Again, we apologize for any confusion regarding this matter, and hope that this was explained to you before making your decision to take your vehicle elsewhere. We were in the market for a Ford Edge, and Lexus of Bellevue had a Limited with all the options that we wanted, and at a very good price. I called and was told they would have it available when we arrived, which they did. We were passed off to a salesperson who went with us on the test drive. There was a wheel bearing noise that became evident as we were on the freeway, but she told us that Lexus had a fabulous repair facility, and "of course" they would repair it, no question. We returned to the dealership, where we talked them down a little more in price, got an agreement that the car could be checked out at Bickford Ford, and that Lexus of Bellevue would repair the noise from the wheel bearing. We took delivery that evening--no hassles, a very quick transaction, with only limited pressure to buy an extended warranty, etc.

Then the fun began--I was told to bring the Edge back at my convenience and LoB would fix the wheel bearing noise. It turned out, however, that the wheel bearing had to be repaired through Ford, as there was a technical service bulletin regarding the repair and LoB did not have the proper tools to do the repair. I was told to bring the Edge back anyway, LoB would give me a loaner car, and they would send it to Ford of Bellevue for repair. Unbeknowst to me, the Lexus salesperson never made any inquiries at Ford of Bellevue as to parts availability, nor did she make an appointment for the car--so I drove the Edge to Bellevue from Snohomish in a snowstorm that crippled traffic for hours, was given a Lexus to drive that made my back ache, and was told that LoB would call me when the Edge was ready. "When might that be?", I asked. "I don't know," the salesperson replied, as if I should just be really happy to drive a Lexus instead of the Edge.

As it turned out, the repair was under warranty from Ford, which the service manager at LoB was nice enough to call Bickford Ford and confrim, so I could take the Edge back to my favorite dealership. However, I had to drive back to Bellevue--in the aftermath of the snowsorm--to pick the car back up. All of this could have been solved with a simple call from the salesperson to either someone in the service department of LoB, or a call to Ford of Bellevue. As it was, it took my bird-dogging it by calling Ford of Bellevue and LoB repeatedly to get this ironed out.

LoB has a beautiful facility, with as many amenities as a five star hotel, which it resembles, but at the crux of the matter is that any business needs GOOD COMMUNICATION. One phone call could have saved a lot of wear and tear. I am happy with the purchase, but do wonder about what the service after the sale would have been like had I not been persistent.

The Lexus of Bellevue service staff are very professional and courteous. My service was completed sooner than expected, I had been waiting there for it and was able to move on with my day. The waiting area is very comfortable and spacious so I didn't mind waiting anyway. The Lexus of Bellevue courtesy car wash provided was deal closer for me; complete wash and rinse inside and out. It makes me feel like I am driving a new car. Don't change a thing and keep up the good customer service!

When they first opened years ago, this was a first class facility. Now, they are just too arrogant. They immediately size you up to see if you can afford their cars. Being in the northwest, they should know the way you dress is not reflective on how much you are worth.

I went in looking for a car and immediately the vultures size you up and some just plain walk away from you as you don't look rich enough to buy. Bad idea as I always pay in full for my cars and was ready to drop $90k+ for a new Lexus. How can a commissions sales person expect to sell anything if they treat you like crap. I walk out after getting berated like a little kid and went down the street to Barrier Mercedes and bought a S550. Lexus loss.

So, in a month or so we'll be going doing this again, but it won't be in Bellevue.

I used the internet to contact various dealerships around the local area, and after speaking with various representives, decided that Lexus of Bellevue not only had the best selection of vehicles, but really understood my concerns. From my arrival, me and my dogs, were greeted and treated with respect and dignity. You would expect to spend the better part of a day when purchasing a new car, but by working with the internet department, I was able to get the EXACT vehicle I was looking for in just over an hour.

We leased a 2007 ES 350 there several years ago. Sales transaction went well but service is horrible. They say it will take 2.5 to 3 hours to do a routine service. It's unacceptable to make an appt and still have to wait that long to get a routine service. I have a Corvette I take to a Chevy dealership in Issaquah that has me in and out the door in 35 minutes and at half the price. Yes, the Chevy waiting room is pretty crude but I can put up with it for half an hour. The last two visits at Lexus, they "misplaced" my car. It took over 4 hours for service in each instance. I was told the service manager would call me to apologize and "make it up to me". Still waiting for that call. Half the time I'm not greeted when I pull into the service drive. When I walk in, the service advisors not on the phone ignore me until I walk up and ask if they are working. L of B needs to quit relying on their grand facility and spend more time on customer service.

Early this year, got a 2008 RX350 from Lexus of Bellevue. Also, last year, got a 2007 RX350 from Lexus of Tacoma. Both dealerships are O'Brien group. For both cases, sales person never deliver their promise at the time of the delivery and were rude on both cases. Everything they say they are going to do at the time of negotiation process, they never carried out. For the 2007 RX, sales person promised to include some accessories at the time of offer. However, during vehicle pickup, the sales just tells us that the accessories were not in stock and that he will mailed it to me when it become in stock. Never heard back from him. Furthermore, the sales person were rude when asking them for reports for the vehicle at the time of the pickup. Furthermore, because the deal was made at the end of the month, they keep phoning me wanting me to send them the money for the deal that has only be made 2 day ago and planning to be picked up 2 week later. They even Harrased to cancel the order if I do not pay within one day, which I told them it's only the 3rd day after the offer if they want to do that go ahead, at which point they softened and said I can just pay before I pick up the car.
Then, with Lexus of Bellevue. Upon pick up the car, the sales person only provides one master key. I asked him about the other keys that should come with a brand new vehicle purchase. He told me the service department has it but they are closed today (which I later checked, they are open) so he will mail the keys to me. Never received the keys even after numerious phoning and they started to get rude. Then I had to get Customer Satisfaction at Lexus headquarter to give them a phone call to get the keys.

I had numerous experience buying BMW's, all of which had been smooth and happy transactions, never encountered something like these. Lexus builts greats cars but too bad. I'll probably not buy another Lexus since I have already gave them two chances.

Lexus of Bellevue is the creme of the crop. Not only do they have an amazing facility, but they have treated me with respect and courtesy when I purchased my car and also everytime I get my car serviced. When you look a the building you think that to maintain a building like the one they are in, they must be ripping their customers off, however that is not the case. I find their prices to be competitive and even better than Lexus of Seattle! I am a loyal customer and will be back. I recommend everyone I know to Lexus of Bellevue.

Lexus of Bellevue sold me a Certified Pre-Owned GS-300 in 2005. I went to trade it in at another dealer only to find it had been in accident before I owned it. Visit the new showroom and you'll be very disappointed to have wasted your time. Lexus of Seattle is better than anything the Obrien Auto Group owns.

We recently leased a Lexus RX400Hybrid from them...First of all, they did not disclose the lease rate based on our actual credit score. When we confronted them, they were not happy. The language they used made us feel that we are nobody yet persuasive at the time. Secondly, we bought our car for trade in. They first valued at a higher price and said that when the RX400H arrives, we then can trade in at that value. When we picked up the new car, they told us that they need to re-appraise our car(value at $4,000 less than quoted a few days before). We felt that we were cheated. OK...we negotiated and met in the middle. Then as we were going through the orientation, I confirmed with the sales person that we purchased a lojack auto recovery system. I wanted to make sure that it is installed before we leave the dealership. The sales confirmed that it was installed; however, they failed to print out the paperwork. Three days later, I got a call from a lady(not even our sales), saying that they forgot to install the lojack. They wanted us to go back. Due to their negligence, we rescheduled twice before the final appt...The installer did not show up for the appt (It was between 8-12pm and we placed two calls to trace them down).

Overall, I would not recommend anyone to this dealership again.

First of all, we have purchased 4 vehicles from Lexus of Bellevue since 1998. One was an RX300. The struts that hold the hatchback lid gave out only 3 years after owning the vehicle. Hmmm...my cheap $5,000 car I owned as a teenager never had this problem. Did I mention that all our Lexus cars have been purchased brand new? Well, keep that in mind. Anyway, this RX was past warranty. So it cost me $400 to replace the struts through a private mechanic.

Recently, like in last week, the struts that hold up the trunk lid of my SC430 (2003) which only has 23,800 miles on it, gave out. Also, a car we bought brand new. Hmmm...I began to see a trend here since owning the RX.

The service dept told me this: "It's because your lid is too heavy, and it is a 5 year old car." Another service person told me, "It's because you hardly use the car. We see this happening with cars that are hardly used."

Both explanations did not hold water with me. After voicing my concerns, they said, "Just this one time as a courtesy, we will replace the struts, but you must pay the labor costs." I thought that was fair. But then, I was reminded by my husband, how Honda of Renton's service dept. replaced a stereo system for us which gave out about 3 weeks past warranty. Renton Honda did this for FREE, because they said that part should never have gave out like it did. Wow. Pay alot less for a car and you get better service and integrity from the service manager.

When I pay for a Lexus, I expect them to stand behind their cars and the parts that make up the car! If I expected parts to wear out after 23,000 miles, I would've purchased a Yugo. Not in business anymore? EXACTLY MY POINT.
