Hardwick's

I like it in here, they have the things that I need and they always make sure that they get what they want. I like that to a place, a place where they can deliver.

Can't say enough about Hardwick's. If you haven't been there then you just don't get it.
Best tool selection bar none: bigboxstores, internet, or any other hardware store; Anywhere USA and I've lived in 9 states. No joke.

I have to say, if you can't find it anywhere else go to Hardwick & Sons!!! Not only friendly but super helpful. This place seems to have everything.

Hardwicks is truly unique! As mentioned below they carry used tools at great prices, but what makes it a destination for me are high quality tools that are not just the standard brands at other area stores. You'll find specialty tools here too, and a very knowledgable staff. I seek them out from the Eastside.

You can find some real treasures here, as far as used furniture goes. This is a family-owned business and if they don't have what you want they will order it; they also have a fair return policy. Attracts a heavy commercial clientele but happily caters to the unitiated.

When you shop at Hardwicks you are supporting a local business that is a landmark and an amazing hardware store. I go there to buy a screwdriver and walk out having spent fifty dollars on a million other things.... I love it. I am addicted to it...

I cannot believe how much stuff they squeez into that store! I swear they have everything that you would find at Lowes in a quarter of the space. And MUCH cheaper. They have a lot of used hardwear which is great-- i mean who cares if someone has used your hammer before! Plus they have a lot of random furniture and perhaps the nices staff around.

Hardwicks is a fun place to go to even if you aren't looking for anything special. I bought all my friends little keychains with levels on them in all sorts of colors there a couple years ago. But if you are looking for something specifically related to hardware, you will likely also be impressed with the store. It's not quite as easy to find your way around in as Home Depot, but the staff will help you if you need it. It is unique to find a small, locally owned hardware store anymore - help keep it around!!

This is a great hardware store if you are looking for CHEAP tools and accessories. I bought a used hammer there for $2.00 four years ago and it still works great. A word of caution: the store is cluttered and dusty, but it saves me so much money I don'tmind a bit. It's like a thrift store for tools. The staff is really helpful if you can't find something in the chaos they will find it for you. You can also rent U-Hauls here. If you reserve it in person you won't have to pay the fee they charge you online, plus it is located much closer to most people's homes than most Uhaul locations.

Family owned hardware store, they have pretty much everything and are very convenient for anyone in the u district area. Always reasonably priced, and have a good used products section. Sometimes hard to find what you're looking for, but definately the first place I check for any household and repair needs.
