The Nooner

i have worked in the area of the nooner for over 20yrs. I eat there at least once a month or so. Has always been way overpriced but convenient. Today was the last time I will step foot in that establisment. The women taking my order did not speak english very well at all. She did not understand the difference between turkey wth bacon and cheese sandwich and chicken salad with onions. When i tried to explain to the horrible women running the cash register she kept trying to push the plate at me and tell me no this is what I ordered. I had to get really rude back and insist I am not paying your overpriced price of $12.00 for a sandwich I did not order. Instead of making an apology for being incomptent. They were very very rude , they need to realize we are in a country where the customer is right not whever they came from. If you want lower /ok food with nasty service check it out. They even expect you to bus your own table. no thanks

Not really that great. Food is just okay and there is really nothing special. This place has been around for along time so must be doing something right, but I don't see it.

I know this has been around for a long time but I can't quite understand why. the food is okay, it seems like I can make the same exact sandwich at home for a lot less but I guess people must like it because they can grab a quick lunch for work...

The Nooner has been a household name in this area for a very long time with all the business folks. People from all the local businesses stop in each day to get their lunch and that is just what is done. I don't know anyone who works around there that has never been to the Nooner. They offer sandwiches, soups, salads and all sorts of basic lunch fare. Very good food and they are fast which is important when you are on a lunch break.
